I've watched that video at least 20 times. At first I thought it might be WS patches, then full day to night lighting transitions (i.e. if it goes into extra innings from a day game). I can't prove either.

So, I'm just going to wait until it's revealed. I don't think I would ever figure it out anyway.

Both this and the Cano-Jeter double play were by and far my favorite parts of this trailer. The way Cano gets himself into position to field that ground ball was heart warming for anyone who knows baseball fundamentals...

There's no substitute for developers who are students of the game

Well.....I've got it now(for real).

There is one close guess....but you'll never get it.
You really need inside info on this one....

Nem....I suggest Bora Bora instead of Mexico as a place to hide. It looks awesome in Bora Bora and it is in the middle of an ocean. Much safer!

Your a little slow there Knight! Glad you are up to speed now! lol

With the money I won seeing if I could get a thread to over 20k in views in a short period of time, I can go someplace nice! jk!

It must be the background in which A-Gon demonstrates Move. That background, is the inside of SCEA San Diego.

Another chicken dinner right there.....

I am not into the "move" thing at all, but the thing they gave away in the trailer could be that it's possible to not only bat with the move-control, but to make throws as well. Don't know if it's already known, just a guess for the fans of move-control.

Not only is it known, but I believe that's the only way to play with the Move. In other words, you can't play offense with the Move and defense with the DS controller. It's all or nothing (unless, of course, you switch the control scheme in the options menu every half-inning).

Besides, that would be constituted as a "gameplay feature." Almost everything here would be considered a "feature" or a part of "gameplay," which is why I'm really confused as to what this could be (and also one reason why I thought it was related to the release date).

Ok, then I'm sorry, thought it might only be possible to play offense with the move-control. I have watched the video multiple times as well and there is nothing that directly jumps out. Guess we'll have to wait what it is and if it's really something special for us.

That's been in the game forever and what's annoying is there in players that don't even keep them in their pockets, you can edit that though, but Its annoying.

On my phone but has anyone mentioned a Move/Show bundle?

Sent from the right side of my brain.

Regional cover art for the game or an option on who you want on the cover of your game?

Based on the video you've got Posey (SF), Hamilton (TX), Freese (STL), AGon(Bos), CC (NY)...and some others I missed, but they seemed to highlight those guys. Seems like they've hit most of the geographical regions or provided several options.

I wouldn't mind that, but I thought that for a second myself... until I recallwhat EnigmaNemesis said about SCEA not resorting to gimmicks. Wouldn't this be considered a "gimmick" of sorts? I'm not saying people would buy it based on who is on the cover, but isn't that a little rousing all the same?

I think that would be a fantastic idea myself, and personally I see it as being totally possible (since the only cover art is a digital rendering of the player behind a clean white background), and that might actually make some sense.

Plus, A-Gon has been touted the entire time so far. Do you think these other players will kind of be "left in the dust" when all is said and done? Plus, if you pre-ordered, do you get to choose which cover you have?

This is completely, completely plausible (though very costly on their end). It's not just a matter of understanding the parameters behind making that kind of ordeal possible.

Or is it that the game is 3D compatable? I see a 3D sticker on the cover art.

I love this thread.

That is all.

It was 3D compatible last year as well.

I don't think it's regional covers, but these are the men that will be showcasing surprises via media until the release of MLB: The Show.

That's my guess. /endthread

And if it does, are Buster Posey and CC included because they are all in the title sequence where it says MLB 12 including A-Gon
I'm also guessing this is the closest one to the real answer.

They probably are in the title sequence, or appear as overlay in the main menu or something.
