Not 2k's fault since Mike asked for what changes should be made in the sigshot thread and it looks like they delivered.

I got to give them credit for changing the shot releases. I thought they were just gonna forget about them.

So after the 1-20-12 Roster update, the starting lineups (and rotations) are greatly off. I've listed below the most recent/most updated lineups used by coaches in the NBA for their respective teams. Hopefully someone on the 2k team can get this valuable information to the insider to fix all of these lineups that need adjustments.

If you guys find any errors in these lineups, let me know!

Feedback is greatly appreciated! There's about 20 teams that need their starting lineups adjusted.

Did I miss something? Paul George has been starting at the 2, since the season started. There shouldn't have been any reason for them to change that. I didn't check the starting lineup when I reviewed the overall roster this morning.

My XBL just expired, how can I get this new update for the XBOX 360 without screwing up my disk/XBOX? Do I have to make a new MP to have these new roster updates?

Thanks.

# 49 Bdubb @ 01/20/12 02:49 PM
Well atleast I can use E'twaun Moore online now. And poor Sasha Pavlovic they will never change his number to 11.

Ok besides Rubio what ratings for the stars have changed? Kobe mid range up Dallas 3 BALL DOWN? Ray Allen get a boost from 3? Wizards went down?

Who knows? It's hard to find out, since we can't download the previous official roster updates via 2KShare to do side-by-side comparsions. Also, the 2K Insider feature is still "locked" on the retail disc, so we can't even see the graphical changes like we could in NBA 2K10 and NBA 2K11. Only the die hard fans of [insert team] will know what changes are made or people who have the previous save files.

That sound like some BS to me. I'll check it out tonight.

I guess 2k is doing the same thing EA did with the ratings. That is taking the % the player is shooting from downtown and add some number to get the rating (in this case it would be 45, because Rubio is shooting 40% from 3pt range). Therefore every player that shot the same % previous season, had the same rating in 3 point shooting.

I don't have access to my xbox right now, but someone should check if that's the formula they've used to determine the ratings. I certainly hope that's not the case (poor Metta)...

I guess you have to be a fan of a big market team to get your correct roster... smdh

All of those lineup adjustments you made are outdated. These lineups I posted are based off of the lineups used in this past entire week starting with the most recent games.
Sacramento Kings most recent lineup
http://www.nba.com/games/20120118/IN...#nbaGIboxscore
New Jersey Nets most recent lineup (been used for awhile now)

New Orleans Hornets (been used for awhile now)
http://www.nba.com/games/20120119/NO...#nbaGIboxscore
Atlanta Hawks (been using this starting lineup now even coach said this is going to be a stable lineup

Personally, I didn't have a problem with his shoot form. I was still shooting lights out from the MED range.

What a ****ing joke. It's been a month and they haven't even touched the Pistons roster. I know were terrible and everything but we at least deserve Vernon Macklin and a ratings boost for Greg Monroe. He's a monster on the boards and is developing a nice post game. I hate that it takes 4-5 to make him a good player in Association.

they changed durrants shot omg now i got to get use to this new one the older one was easier 2k whyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!! and they chamged westbrook's see if they changed anyone's like kobe or something....but i must say that is how westbrook shoots, durrants looks like it but i hate how it looks like he's double pumping it in the air also hardens shot is changed matches him well

# 59 Settlon @ 01/20/12 03:44 PM
The aspects of this update I dislike the most is the many unnecessary changes to many player's jumpshot releases now. There are some improvements made to players like D.Fisher, R.Westbrook, P.George, L.Aldridge, I.Shumpert, G.Davis, U.Haslem, Mo Williams, K.Leonard, H.Turkoglu, D.Williams etc...

but changing Metta World's Peace shot now makes him look nothing identical to his real life release now. The shot he originally had was perfect, why is it changed now?

Another person & a more popular name, Kevin Durant had his release butchered now too. Like MWP, his release was perfect, why is it changed now? Same goes for J.Harden.

J.Crawford had a rather good release point before, it wasn't perfect but what he has now is a joke.

TBH I'm surprised A.Stoudemire didn't get an adjustment. Also, DeAndre Jordan still needs his Jersey number flipped from a 9 to a 6.

The official rosters have been available on 2K Share for a few days now.
