I cant believe 2k is doing things like this? How do you go evaluate a guy then bump him because he said it should be higher? Then tell him to throw it down over the season so it will keep moving up. Him throwing down monster dunks over the season should be the only reason it goes up. Not because he complains about it. What are they paying whoever does the rosters for if you going to have athletes come in and tell them to bump there ratings? The evaluation should have already been done.

So why dont he listen to us and the non athletes when we tell them Derick Fisher should not make threes like he is Ray Allen, or Kevin Durant should not be dunking like he is Vince Carter in his prime? Well because this definitly was a PR move done to keep Derrick Williams happy as noted by the tweet telling him he better be at E3 again.
Are you serious? They are depicting him in the game. And if the they are depicting him wrong he has every right to complain (I agree with the dunk rating BTW) and they are right to correct it. As for the evaluation there are hundreds of players and they are bound the miss some stats.

I agree. This is a bad course of action for 2k to practice. I remember TJ Housmanzadah(sp?) got into it with the Madden guys about his rating. 9 times out of 10 most athletes will overestimate their actual skill level anyway. They lack the ability to be objective. I really hope they don't go jacking everyone's rating based on them whining, etc.

I already told a guy at the 2k forums who claims he is Chris Johnson to tweet ronnie about not being in the game for the 2nd straight year.

If players tweet to get a free boost he should do the same so maybe finally they add him

# 106 Slyone14 @ 12/20/11 08:46 PM
I would almost bet they still add bismark b tonight. Would be just horrible to delay a top 10 signed rookie.

# 107 Slyone14 @ 12/20/11 08:56 PM
Damn I wish i had twitter so I could ask him. Come on Ronnie add bismark, we need all too 10s ! PleAse

# 108 sportdan30 @ 12/20/11 11:52 PM
I'm curious if they are going to add tats to the Morris twins? They look so different without their tatoos. Not exactly how I remember them from their time at Kansas.

They're doing more than just missing stats, they're missing attributes and tendencies which help makes these players who they are in this game. Not to mention how much these numbers affect the overall game-play. Every C or PF should not be pump faking or doing up-and-unders in the post or have a killer mid-rage game. PG's and SG's should not be crashing the boards after every possession. A long rebound I can relate to but for the most part guards should be prepared to set-up, shoot or leak-out on the break etc.

I just wish 2K did a better with editing player attributes and tendencies. This alone would enhance the game-play tremendously. As it stands know their roster updates make you say damn-it man! For others it's throwing the controller at the wall

I hope so too. That makes two rookies so far, Kyrie Irving was the first to my knowledge.

Apparently 2K is working on rookie tattoos according to Ronnie here:

@Free9tonySwag Adding their original art will look better than creating a whole new CAP.

We talked about this a few pages back. I hardly call what Kyrie tweeted whining.

He said he was going to have to prove them wrong. He didn't tweet Ronnie2K like D-Will did telling him to change his rating. They just changed his rating anyways.

# 111 sk @ 12/21/11 02:03 AM
Anybody know when they will get to the 2nd rounders?

# 112 GoGetta408 @ 12/21/11 02:57 AM
Stop b*tchin about DWill b*tchin. I'm glad he was "complaining." Please, look at his college highlights, this boy has hops! The rating they gave him in 2k was ridiculously low.

So because he has hops he's good? I guess you think Jamario Moon is good too?

He's still raw, and a tweener. It doesn't matter what type of numbers he put up in college if he was raw.

If he put up 25 ppg yet he only did it with dunks then you can't make his J good or his post moves or his touch around the rim or handles.

# 114 Xuriath @ 12/21/11 03:36 AM
I just want Darius Morris in the game for the Lakers so I can start my Association....

i never claimed he was good. However, his dunk rating in this game was laughable compared to real life. And when other players like Kenneth Faried have better vertical rating than Derick Williams, you know somethings wrong.....

# 116 RocketTMac1 @ 12/21/11 10:35 AM
2k shouldn't put themselves in this tough spot. When rookies demand a ratings upgrade then vets who are garbage will do the same. Kyrie needs to prove he can dunk in the NBA on a regular basis before 2k ups his dunk rating. Derrick has proven he can throw it down. But 2k is really backing themselves into a unfortunate corner.

If I were 2k I would tell Kyrie hey homie you can always update your ratings yourself. Prove to the team that you can throw it down like D.Rose and Westbrook. And prove you can stay healthy.

# 117 Colts18 @ 12/21/11 10:54 AM
I don't see what Kyrie Irving did to deserve a 90+ vertical rating. Who on earth does he think he is? His bounce isn't like that at all.

What is his new dunk rating?

If they are just evaluating Derrick Williams and seeing that he has bounce then what the hell are they doing. This is seriously a joke man. This is a joke!

Hell he didn't have to do that if he wasn't feeling some type of way about it now did he. . . NO. He did it on the cool by saying. . . he was going to have to prove them wrong. He didn't tweet "oh Ronnie at 2K I love this game and me in it". Dude probably got beat-down playing some 2K against Boobie Gibson!

In my Chris Carter voice. . . C'mon maN
