NBA 2K12 Updated Rosters Arrive This Weekend, Kyrie Irving Screenshot Included

2K Sports will upload updated NBA 2K12 rosters this weekend.

Some of the NBA rookies will be included, since they have signed their contracts. Other rookies will become available, as they officially sign with their respective team.

Some teams like Minnesota & Golden State are waiting on signing their rookies to keep their cap space open to go after DeAndre Jordan.

I think thats the only reason why they're waiting on signing guys. Lucky for 2nd rounders that there wasnt a Summer League, because some of these guys wouldn't have been signed.

Hey quick question guys, and I apologize if it's benn mentioned but I'm heading to bed in a sec... but since it looks like Brandon Roy is retiring, how will he be handled in the game after updates? Clearly he's in the game now? But will be removed? Made a Free Agent? Anyone know?

Ronnie 2k stated that they're taking Brandon Roy out of the game.

I know how you feel. The teams not wanting to sign their rookies for free agent purposes are irking my nerves. Atleast if they were signed I would know that they made the cut for the first roster update.

I played a game online where I got 35 points with him only taking jumpers. It was Portland vs Boston. I beat the guy 72 - 30.

Brandon Roy is overrated in the game. He didn't do squat after coming back off the injury, and they still make him a very competent player. Why do you think he retired? He can't play anymore

Over all rating don't matter, you can easily score with him in 2k bad knees and all.

I think one guy was arguing about being overrated in the game, while the other guy was arguing about being overrated as a player for his career period. In the game yes. As a player for his time with portland , no he was pretty good.

You can easily score with anyone in this game. Bums like Eric Maynor, Hasheem Thabeet, Jared Jeffries and Joel Anthony play like all-stars.

True, but when a guy can only play a few minutes per quarters because of pain and in the game being able to run around the court for 48 minutes with him is worse.

Since the season hasn't started yet I think they are just adding the players. I'm guessing that the ratings will remain untouched.

There are still moves being made. Lamar Odom was traded to Dallas last night, for example. Knowing 2K, they are probably waiting until trade talks and signings either cool down or become official before releasing an update.

-- The Lakers have focused their attention solely on Dwight Howard now. No CP3 talk as of this time.
-- Rip Hamilton is likely to sign with the Bulls.
-- Chauncy Billups is a free agent.
-- Mike Bibby is signing with the Knicks.
-- Mike Dunleavy is signing with the Bucks.
-- Jamal Crawford is still out there.

You see, too much going on at the moment to release an update right now that would probably be obsolete in 24 hours.

They also said that it will be out by the end of the weekend, sunday isn't over yet.
