NBA 2K12 Updated Rosters Arrive This Weekend, Kyrie Irving Screenshot Included

2K Sports will upload updated NBA 2K12 rosters this weekend.

Some of the NBA rookies will be included, since they have signed their contracts. Other rookies will become available, as they officially sign with their respective team.

Lol, i was gonna say what exactly OGKing said. It is just the principle, i wouldn't two craps if the rookies came out tonight or a week. I can wait. But dont get people excited by saying, Yes its coming overnight, then delete the stupid tweet. That is poor business. Some of us have been waiting since launch or before for these rookies, especially if there from our hometowns.

I understand what your saying. Its just like your expecting madden 12 to come out in August, and they say it will, and on launch day it just poof isnt there. That is bad business. At least he couldnt have tweeted, hey, it might be longer. I am cool with that, but since he said that i have been eagerly waiting for my rookies all day. You know? With iphones, smartphones, etc, there is no excuse for not keeping us informed, period.

Yea, exactly.

Some people are clearly too impatient.

They said by the end of this weekend, so it should be here tonight or Monday. If not, then oh well, we'll get an update from there.

Let's just HOPE that ronnie tweet that he deleted is true..

Roster update will probably not arrive tonight if Ronnie deleted his tweet.

Which is fine by me; they would probably (no, definitely) be incomplete anyway. Posters (and people in general) who are getting bent out of shape over this need some perspective.

Release it when it is ready, but it better be worth the wait.

I agree with everyone. Although i get confused because 2k was constantly saying that they had all the rookies ready to go and were waiting for the lockout to end and that soon as it did they would release the rookies. Well, its been about 4 days. I just think they could have released some to keep us happy.

Oh well, i am just a avid basketball fan, and was disappointed tonight because Sunday/Monday are my days off and i was looking forward to playing this. But heres to hoping that i will wake up tommorow afternoon to a new roster!

I'm not surprised people are disappointed, especially after we were given some type of deadline. It's too bad. I'd like to be able to play with SOME rookies for the time being. I think everyone is just ready for the season to start.

I think the only issue with the rookies is the jersey number for some. The main holdup I think is that some teams currently don't have full rosters in real life. A few teams only have around 6 players under contract at the moment.

If I had to offer a guess, I think we will get them at some point Monday afternoon. Unless there is a flurry of player movement between now and then

2ksports shouldn't write checks they can't cash. It has nothing to do with patience, more so lying douche bags. 2ksports are the biggest scam artists in the history of scamming. Of course I called this when I heard about the roster update being dropped this weekend. I played it out in my head. People get stoked about the update and finally getting to use the rookies and then the weekend goes by and 2k decides to post some dumb excuse of why their is no roster update. It's getting old. And it's not all about this update. I'm more upset about how careless they are and how little they care about the people who spend money on 2k games every year.

its not all about the rookies there is so much player movement i'd be surprised if 2k got the roster out today when they do release they still will have to update there's no telling who is on move the next

This doesn't really bother me. I'm enjoying myself with NBA 2k12 so far. i can't complain i just can't.

Don't attack the messenger. 2k was probably waiting on sum block buster trade like cp3 and dwight. They are not going to update everyday maybe weekly. Imagine if cp3 was traded right after 2k released this. I'm not even using these I just want the rookies release so

Or as they promised, they might be fixing the other features of the current players. From hair, facial hair, tattoos, etc.

But announcing it to be released this weekend was idiotic. 2k left us waiting.

It's coming, but in classic 2K fashion, it's a "little" behind schedule. Don't worry guys, it'll get here. As for the people expecting model upgrades, I wouldn't expect that this early on. I expect this first update to focus mainly on the rookies and faces in new places... oh and as Ronnie stated on Twitter, Metta World Peace. Soon, my friends, it'll be here soon.
