Sup Airmatic Im still trying to figure the hex editor out Im more experienced with the reditor plus easy a more easier system. Im trying to find a way to get the new legend players from the DLC on the regular team without using a Create a team slot because I ran out of slots with my roster using a workaround to get them on regular teams. But I still have plenty of CAP slots that is usless until I figure this out.

OMG PEOPLE NEED TO CHILL OUT. FOR 10 BUCKS DIS DLC IS DEFINITLY WORTH IT. NOW IF YOU ASK ME, I'D LOVE TO SEE YOU BE ABLE TO PLAY ONLINE PICKUP WITH THE LEGENDS IN A FULL 5V5 GAME TO 21.
BUT I BELIEVE 2K IS WORKING HARD TO FIX THE ONLINE EVERY YEAR AND THEY WILL GET BETTER. SOMEONE TOLD ME 2K BASKETBALL ONLINE IS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO FRIENDS, CUZ ME AND ALL MY FRIENDS PLAY THIS GAME 24/7.

Ok Brunson, can you help answer these questions for me re:the re-editior.
(1) Does it allow you to trade players from created teams?

(2) Can you give created teams NBA Jerseys? Ex, I've already created the 92 Nets and the 96 Bullets, however, I would like to give them their appropriate jerseys from that season. Does the re-editor allow this?

So you can't invite a friend to play with these teams but random folks? Wow the online afterthought of this game is mind blowing. Fix online aspects! Make is so you can change the home team and change uniforms like in 2k11. OMG already.

If you buy the DLC, you can trade from classic teams. (It sucks…I know) I have no idea about the second question.

This DLC was worth it....
It's really different from the regular game and fun...

I'm enjoying more the fact that I can play with the new 45 DLC legends in other modes thanks to the glitch thing...
and I'm on pS3.

Does anyone have a list of just the NEW players added?

# 151 The Limit @ 12/01/11 01:58 AM
Can someone please tell me the players on each of the secret 3v3 era challenge teams? I think I read that they were modern players. So who's on each?

It's kind of hard to say. I mean, guys like 1984 Mark Aguirre technically aren't new, but skill-wise and team-wise they're much different than they were in their original capacity on 2K (Aguirre by default was on the '89 Pistons). Below is nearly all the new players I could see. I included some players already in the game (ex: Detlef Schrempf) if their DLC version comes from another era or team of their career. Some other guys, like '94 David Robinson (and others) I did not include.

Spoiler

I am not entirely clear what you mean. The 3-on-3 Era Challenge consists of 12 games against teams from each era of the NBA beginning in 1960 and moving forward. Each decade has two teams. I can't tell you all the rosters from every single team because I cannot recall them all. I can say the two 2010's teams included LeBron James, Dwight Howard, Dwyane Wade, Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, and what I'm sure is one more obvious star I'm missing. The 2000's teams featured one squad of Shaq, Nash, and Garnett. Another likely included Duncan and Bryant. I just cannot recall them all off the top of my head.

3v3 Era Challenge
The 3v3 Era Challenge is structured a lot like the 2v2 Teammate Challenge. Here, however, players are grouped by era, with two teams of 3 players from each decade of the NBA represented (1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s). Again, you choose from one of these teams and battle it out against the rest to see which era comes out on top. You can go old school with Russell-West-Oscar, well-rounded with Robinson-Pippen-Stockton, or stay a bit more current with Duncan-Dirk-Kobe. Once you’ve made it past each of those teams, you get one final test against the newest generation of NBA stars. Take those last two teams out, and you’ll unlock the ability to use the NBA’s current stars throughout the Legends Showcase.

This says that after you beat them all, you can play against 2 teams composed of modern players, and I want to know who are on those 2 teams.

Edit: Omg, I completely overlooked those last sentences, lol. Ok, thanks.

Oh word. Yeah, those would be the fellows I mentioned in the previous post. I just can't recall how they were split up. I can remember 5 of the 6: LeBron James, Dwight Howard, Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant, and Dwyane Wade. I just can't recall if Dirk Nowitzki was included in the current stars or in the 00's. I thought the 00's, so that'd still leave one. Chris Paul may have been the 6th, now that I think about it.

The DLC is not bad really.. but the fact that you can only play online with The Greatest is disappointing. I am not keen on the idea that 2K decided to cell shade the graphics either. I like the modes too although H-O-R-S-E takes some time to get used to. All and all I like it but it's still very underwhelming.

# 156 bigball12 @ 12/01/11 05:35 AM
After mulling this purchase (originally not even considering it due to the lack of team up with classic teams), I must say, I am rather pleased! I have never really enjoyed playing the computer, but this is actually quite entertaining. The tournament aspect keeps it competitive, and the fact that there is only one difficulty is nice too! the Horse mode is a blast! Some of the different shots & the distance from which you can attempt them is insane! The online quick match is nice because it counts toward your ranked matches & record!

The graphics took a little getting used to but they have grown on me! The only thing that i would have done better, is add online team-up with classic teams, and to make all of these new game modes online! It really almost does baffle me how they could not get these Horse & 21 games online! They used to have dunk contest online in 2K, it shouldn't be all that different. Also, it is disappointing that you cannot invite a friend to play with the classic teams, only randoms. This too is very puzzling.

All in all, after reading the initial impressions from most, and feeling as thought this is just a money pit, I must say, it actually is quite fun, and I would definitely recommend this purchase!

8/10

Question--once the Legends from the DLC are unlocked, are they in the Free Agent Pool in their classic uniforms, i.e. Aguirre in his 80s Mavs uniform, KJ in his 90s Suns uniform, etc.?
