I love the game, but not being able to download stuff people are creating is setting me back from starting my Wwe universe. Hopefully that's fixed pretty soon.

You have to burn a finisher to do it. Go outside the cell, get a finisher, make your opponent groggy next to the cell wall, perform your "Cell Finisher", and that'll bust a wall out.

I really liked the road to wrestle-mania. The things i don't like about the controllers is you can not do anything in the hot spots like at the barricades you can only headbutt the guy. when you drag a guy to the steps nothing happens. the other thing when you drag somebody to the bottom ropes you can't choke them for a 4 count.other controller issue is when you are giving somebody a submission in the ropes and they ask for a break you don't have an option to keep the hold on the guy for that 4 count thing.oh yea 2 more things i hate is when you are beating somebody and they have somebody at ringside that person can climb on the apron and hit you and not get disqualified One more problem i have is not being able to get on the servers!

Just keep wearing them down until it prompts Y/Triangle to go to cut scene.

Has anyone noticed a glitch where if a CPU is pinning a CPU and someone comes out to interfere, the ref won't count and the person doing the pinning won't break the pin and the person getting pinned doesn't kick out so it's a never ending cycle and you have to skip the match? It's happened twice to me now.

I havent played this series since 07 so the controls still confuse the hell out of me but I had the most intense and realistic match earlier.

It was a triple threat for the world heavyweight title. Mysterio (me) Orton and Christian. It is a good 15 minutes in and i finally get christian lined up for the 619, but as i go for it orton gets in my way and slams me, then he gets up and readys up for his rko, i get up groggy and he hits it and i know im done for, but as soon as he gets up to celebrate christian gets off the rope, kicks orton and hits him with his finisher. christian goes for the pin, i get up as the ref counts two....i run over to break it up but right before i can, the 3 count is called, christian wins, that match was a rush.

Sorry but pin meter sucks and not because I cant kick out but because I can kick out every time unless my body is fully red and the bar is barely visible.

I always hated skill based mini games in video games that involve ratings...Attributes should determine something like this, for example recovery...

No but attributes should have an affect (like any other typical sports game) and not be total skilled based (like a typical fighting game)

I had a match with Ryder (maybe the lowest rated guy on the game) vs Ziggler, I beat Zolph because I was able to kick out of all his pin attempts (which only happens when u are damaged) and was able to stay alive long enough to hit him with my finisher.

Zolph destroyed me in that match btw

Only way I would have lost the match is if my "paper doll" was fully red

And this is the very reason I always went with the button smashing option for the last 2 years.

I've seen them.

I think it is part of a wrestler's pin package. Not every one can do it.

Sort of like performing a German suplex pin. It's definitely a package that becomes available during a grapple move and I believe only after a certain time in the fight.

Not 100% on it becoming available later in a match (possibly based on opponent damage?) but I know as Edge I had a sudden option to pin during a grapple I performed several times during the match.

Then again, I think I perform less moves off an arm grapple then any other grapple so it might have been a move I simply had not attempted earlier in the match.

Anyway the point is there are small package pins. I've seen them.

I find that impressive because while I'm getting better at kicking out, I'm not finding myself always kicking out especially since the meter moves to different spots on the screen during attempts and also changes speeds.

At least in my game it does. Playing on Hard.

My only complaint with the meter is during Last Man Standing matches. It's annoying as hell. The camera angle keeps changing while you're trying to get up, and it really makes it a lot more difficult to get up, because it kind of disorients you.

Im on legend but i have also been playing this series since Smackdown. (played every installment)

Maybe the game is just too easy for me?

I even have AI reversals at max...On Legend!

The thing is 9x out of 10 I hit the pin meter on the first try, it is harder if you miss tho.

Later in the match its either kickout on first count or lose...There is no dramatic 2 counts for me..If they not going to chance the system at least give us the option for classic system which makes no sense that they removed it but have button smash for subs..What do I expect tho, UFC 3 took out the shine for subs but kept it in for takedowns

I also find that the royal rumble meter is harder than the pin meter but that is mainly due to the speed.

Overall the AI does give me a better challenge than the last 2 years.

The camera switching during pins and any other time a meter comes up is one of the most annoying things about his game.

Isn't that a good thing to make it harder to get up in a Last Man Standing Match? It wouldn't be much fun if you were getting up immediately everytime. I don't have the game yet, so I'd have to see the camera changes for myself to comment accurately on the matter.

It shouldn't take me 7 seconds to get up when I'm 2 minutes into the match.

Ah experience plays a role. I haven't played a wrestling game since No Mercy.

Actually, I played that Acclaim title that required street fighter stick skills to pull off moves and retired from the games as a result.

So yeah I'm a bit of a newbie here. I did have a pretty crazy match where I somehow kicked out of a close two- count. Maybe I'm getting better but I mostly felt lucky.

I also suck at video games. I've long accepted that.

Ah man playing those those Acclaim games was like eating Kix and wanting Cocoa Puffs.

WWE was hot then too with DX, Rock and SCSA!!!

Anyone else having an issue with created wrestlers with custom music where, after you win with one and match highlights play, the music cuts off? Any known workarounds if so?

I think the only thing you can do is disable the match highlights. Then the music will play for the winner scene instead.

I really enjoy this game but the server issues are annoying. All I want to do is download CAWs so I can start my Universe.
