Mr. Czar needs to release a roster with the coaching profiles set to how he uses them. Great video, as always.

once again. great job playa!

people will never stop complaining but hopefully more people understand how to set up their defense.

quit screaming the game is broken and try to actually learn how to use the tools that are given to you.

Adjusting your individual assignments before each game helps so much.

Thanks Czar.

Great Job Czar. Keep coaching.

Thanks for pointing it out for the people who want the game to play itself without having to make any adjustment from game to game.

Agreed. Depth is the very thing people say they want yet are too lazy to take advantage of when given. Granted 2K needs to do a better job of explaining such an intricate system but too many people are too quick to throw out the "it's BROKEN" tag because they don't know what they're doing. Another great/helpful/informative vid Czar, thx much for all your work.

The video series NEEDS to be stickied imo

Can it be done in My Player???

This is a great video! I have been a bit distraught by the amount of 3's being hit, but I have always played with a high help defense in the coach settings to make up for my tendencies as a poor on ball defender. This will transfer right into my Association mode where I will be lowering the help defense and not helping off of the shooters. I really appreciate this!

Great video Czar. I've been having much better results since our brief discussion on this subject days ago. It's somewhat of a task(coaching) but I make adjustments before and during timeouts so I'm not pausing the game. As a result 3pt. baskets made by the cpu have been reduced along with my cpu teammates wandering off leaving their assignments.

It's not flawless but it's definitely not broken either. Appreciate it

This is a great one. I did adjust defensive settings each game and it helped, but I even didnt know about this coach settings ! No more open 3s for the cpu!!!

This particular element of the game is so important but sadly most of the gamers of 2k don't even touch this. As usual great stuff from Da Czar. I have win and lost many games because of these adjustments.

I just hope that we can adjust the double teams and individual defense settings during timeouts (are they in during timeouts?).

You can, but you have to pause online, if you do it from the quick menu, your opponent can see every thing, however, if you pause the big hand comes up and you can't see which way they are making adjustments.

great video, very useful but defenders are leaving their man to change matchups, when players mismatch.i dont think this video address this. maybe i miss sth.

How do you set defensive settings for individual players in the timeout? I only see double and on ball, where is offball

I dont think you can. there are also Screen and Hedge settings in the Pause Defensive Settings menu also.

You have to pause and go to Defensive Settings. It's highly annoying to me that they didn't include this in the Timeout menus.
