NBA 2K12 Patch Available Now For PS3 (Post Your Online Issues Here)

The NBA 2K12 patch is available now for PS3 owners. If you are following along with Ronnie2K on Twitter, you will see some of the details, as listed below.

Make sure you leave details on your online experience, after the patch.

Namely changing things in Loading Screens causing drops Those are 2 main things we attempt to fix (network errors & long time in getting a game h2h/team-up) in the #NBA2K12Patch Patch is supposed to fix the network drop if you manage defensive settings in load screen Some people haven't got update as it rolls out regionally. Should be a couple hours as it gets everywhere. After that I need y'alls feedback

Yeah Im guessin this is the patch that address the online issues, good that its finally out. Now we just need 2K to release the gameplay issues patch and we will all be good to go.

A lot seems to have improved after one game against the heat quick match... A lot stutter lag towards the end though... Playing another one now, ill see what happens.

This patch messed up offline games though (at least for my experience). After installing this patch, all my association games had lag after tip off. Mostly in the first half. However, in the 2nd half, the lag decreases but still present in certain situation.

Can anyone update on whether it is:

A) Easier to get into a Team up match?
B) Do you stay connected or are the majority of games still dropping with Network Connection error?
C) Are mic's working? I play with my buddy, that I know has a mic and we can never hear each other?

Second game vs Thunder. The controls were still very responsive, threes seemed to be tone down although Harden turned into Reggie Miller at one point. The fatigue needs to be toned down a bit, guys are still spamming turbo. It's upsetting because of how ridiculous it is to watch a guy run around with kobe chasing my passes for 20 seconds then go to the other end and do 8 iso moves and take a running pull up jumper or dunk. And I've seen a couple of guys do this for 20 minutes in quick game.

It's a lot less frustrating with the input delay being gone.

I changed the defense settings on three matches and no network errors.

def feel like its worse.. shot timing seems the same.. connecting to a game seems exactly the same... i dont notice a difference and im playing now which isnt a peak time so would think it would be better...

online is FAST as hell for me now, I find games in like a 60 seconds with no lag.

Happy to hear no lag.... Wish I would've waited now I gotta get my record up to .500 since Im able to play actual defense (1-4).

They don't have the ok to display them in the game until the lockout is resolved.

You have no clue what you are talking about. So somewhere in the NBA lockout rules it say "In NBA2K12, you can use different jerseys in regular offline games, but in My Player and online that is a direct violation." Get real.

That doesn't make sense.....it's ok for me to use the Raptors home or away jerseys online but not the road alternates that have been out for 3 seasons now ?

Can anyone confirm that offline games are playing alright? This is supposed to only affect online play but there were lots of XBox complaints about offline after their patch.

They tweeted this on launch day ... they said rookies and alternate uniforms have not been signed off by the NBA and PA.
