NBA 2K12 Patch Available Now For PS3 (Post Your Online Issues Here)

The NBA 2K12 patch is available now for PS3 owners. If you are following along with Ronnie2K on Twitter, you will see some of the details, as listed below.

Make sure you leave details on your online experience, after the patch.

Namely changing things in Loading Screens causing drops Those are 2 main things we attempt to fix (network errors & long time in getting a game h2h/team-up) in the #NBA2K12Patch Patch is supposed to fix the network drop if you manage defensive settings in load screen Some people haven't got update as it rolls out regionally. Should be a couple hours as it gets everywhere. After that I need y'alls feedback

I only played for about 30-40 minutes today after the patch was a cpu vs cpu game in my offline association. I didn't notice any frame-rate problems.

did you notice something difference after the patch??i did not DL the patch yet ,,,i dont want to ruin my offline games..

and three's online are ridiculously up. i think 2k put the sliders up because everytime i play now every1 is picking boston and just jackin with Ray and Paul from deep. 12-19 from three one game , 9-13 another and my last game Pierce was 13-18 STUPID UNREAL. i still won em all cuz ROSE tho but it feels fake seeing someone stay in the game for shooting threes all day. Man in there face and everything

yea with the presentation and stuff it's almost as good as watching the actual thing and with the lockout and all you know it kind of gives me my fix. If I want to play the game I usually play My Player, or and exhibition game and this year greatest mode. But when I play association I just like to build teams and see how they do against other teams.

I didn't notice anything personally but like I said I only played 30 or 40 minutes and I didn't play My Player mode or anything I just watched a cpu vs cpu game in my offline association.

Not sure why but I have not been able to connect to any online games ever for 2k12. 2k11 worked fine for me when I played every so often but now I search for an opponent for as long as it lets me. I also can not connect to 2kshare nor have I ever been able to with this game but 2k11 worked fine for me. I was hoping this patch might do something for me so I could connect but it's an issue for me. I am thinking it might be my isp or something because it seems like most people are able to at least connect to online.

Is the patch available in Europe right now? I logged in PSN, entered the game but it didn't download/install anything...

Nope...had a tweet off Ronnie at 2K yesterday and he said that they were still waiting for clearance for international areas...only NA at the moment...so still waiting I'm afraid.

OK, thanx for your info. I don't mind about the delay, I just wanted to know if it was my system's fault that I can't have the patch or because it isn't available yet...

PS. Newcastle United and UK? I thought that the british people didn't care for basketball at all...

Yep we do, well some of us anyway....I regularly watch the BBL (British Basketball Elite League) over here as my local team, Durham Wildcats, play out of the town where I live.

i am just playing with my mavs at houston and its unplayable due to frame rate stutters. wtf. how can I get rid of the patch?

I saw the option last night for the patch, but opted to pass since i'm playing offline association right now.

Anyone else have experience with offline modes and framerate?

i downloaded the patch and haven't had any issues offline...the game seems to play the same as before.

It was a patch to try and fix online issues not a gameplay patch so please stop complaining that the patch did not address gameplay issues. 2k said all along that they have another patch coming down the road to address other issues and this was not that patch.

this is keeping me from downloading this patch.
