Awesome audio samples! Stern's voice sounds hmmm, not quite like him, but still awesome.

I always turn of the commentary, but you know what? This was still an excellent insight. Imagine that, being able to appreciate the qualitative aspects of a part of the game that isn't necessarily something you really care about.

I can't stand Marv Albert and so I used to turn off sometimes or at least lower the volume of the commentary while playing Live. But I can't take it without commentary (just like I can't take Marv's voice). Doesn't it feel empty to play with no commentary? It's like playing the demo with 12-min quarters...

Enjoyed this insight, really looking forward to the next insight regarding the feature we probably won't get to use this year

Nope, doesn't feel empty at all. My own analysis of what is going on in the game provides me with complete immersion. Quite often I mute real life games as well.

Maybe you can upload a gameplay video to youtube with your own commentary. I'd like to hear that, would be interesting to hear someone else doing the commentary. I'm serious.

When I say analysis, I don't mean play by play and the like, just internal observations of the rhythm of the game.

Got you. Still, if it keeps you playing with commentary off, it must be interesting.

Hearing Stern's voice made me want to throw something.... A-hole trying to take away our NBA season

I wonder how the commentary goes when you're playing a legends game and kerr is on the floor.

Kerr used to make fun of his lack of athleticism/dribbling skills in Live. I wonder if he would say that again.

Marv: "Steve Kerr, excellent 3pt shooter and all around intelligent basketball player."
Kerr: "Thank you. I mean, yeah. I hear he's quite handsome too."

ya he was a GM, the worst GM I have seen in quite sometime. lol

turned the Suns from a contender to lottery team, then quit....oh he sure is a great GM with a lot knowledge....

anyone that actually knows basketball would know Kerr doesn't have a lot knowledge by listening to him.....
i like how alot of experts r called out and claimed to not know anything by ppl who for the matter r "not" experts

How do we get 2K to add our names to the database for 2K13?

Thank you 2k!
Hopefully that includes scores from around the league this time in ASSOCIATION, still a little upset it wasn't in last year, smh

Now they are introducing the weekly and monthly awards doing some of the Halftime segments, and from the wording, it seems this as well will not be in the association but just apart of NBA Today 3.0. Leaving things like this out of the Association mode is really disappointing. I still have getting the game but I hope I'm wrong about this when they finally release an Association insight that expands on some of the things they mention in this insight.
So true, I hope I'm not reading that wrong either, same thing I was thinking, I hope Im wrong
