Steve Kerr blends in nicely, the crowd cheers appropriately and best of all no more arrows on the play art!

Wow! Those collisions. The fast breaks. The jumpshots. And last but not least that missed putback dunk by Griffin! Surely this will be the best game ever.

The missed putback was the highlight

Moar.

Anyone notice how Mo's head looks a little funny/squished? Granted his head sort of looks squished in real life too...

I'm LOVING the new pre-game starting 5 animations. I'm also PRAYING that they got cut off manually, I'd be disappointed if they only had those animations go for 3 out of the 5 for one team or something.

This year looks cleaned up graphically, animations seem to run together more smoothly and the ball physics seem tighter as it goes through the basket.

Also, really liking the new gauges for stamina and shooting ability/range. One question, though: When he shot a free throw with Ray Allen, it said Late - 86%. What does that mean? Seems like a percentage under 100% would imply an early release. Is 50% what you're aiming for? Or does that mean you were off by 14%? Very confused.

P.S. I'm so glad it was the Celtics and Clippers instead of the Lakers. F888 that noise. Can't wait to beast with Griffin.

EDIT: Time to watch a second time...

Quick thoughts as I watch it

Faces and skin colours really improved
Loving those Rondo's low tops
The game in the post looks good
Off the ball movement -> better than last year.
Good collision at 5:27
Jermaine O'Neal rocking the Shox Pro's (last year sneakers). I hope the got more "outdated" sneakers
Great block by Griffin at the end of the quarter

I didn't say anything AI (or user controlled) related on purpose, but I need to say it... Way too much shots by Rondo, lol

Well this sucks... looks like I'll have to shed out another $60 on release day. I'm convinced yet again.

# 11 Goffs @ 09/15/11 06:51 AM
the only thing that irks me is whoever was playing defense couldn't keep up with his guy....I'm guessing its Ronnie playing lol

I am happy we finally got a video!! It took long enough.
The presentation in the beginning of the video was EXCELLENT. All the players look improved from last year and the animations look a lot smoother. I am happy to hear Steve Kerr in the game. I kinda wish they took out Kellogg and just replaced him with Steve but nonetheless the new commentary was refreshing.

My only complaint is whoever in playing isn't that good. A lot of the shots in the video were forced. I think I only saw a few wide open shots. My only hope is we get more videos and hopefully whoever is playing next time is a lil better.

Looks good, the intro polish is a really nice touch. I too hope it was a manual cancellation, as that kinda presentation for every player would be awesome. A few observations:

- Defense is much sharper, good to see
- Paul Pierce's pull up J looked fantastic
- FG looked good, but still looked a bit like a jump shooter's game; mind you this is only one quarter, so too early to say
- Long bomb passes are still getting rewarded, namely Gomes' pass
- Griffin's block looked nice, but Jermaine put up a strange shot that got him blocked, not sure if this was an animation

It's a nice start.

hmm the crowd should've roared when Ray Allen got that and 1 but overall the crowd is much more responsive so far...

love seeing the quick screens! Blake has been active screening one guy then he moves to screen your guy in one smooth motion. I have always wanted my cpu teammates to do that!

My God 2k steps up their game every year! Amazing just amazing. Cant wait cant wait! Can you just imagine what NFL 2k12 would look like and play like just makes me shake my head sometimes. This game is going to rock! Thank you 2k for not resting on your laurels year after year! Will be gladly paying $60 for this game already preordered on Amazon.

I love it Steve Kerr and Clark complement each other better than I thought. Steve can be kinda the facts guy not real high energy even keel and Clark is the rah rah did you see that guy.

86% seems to me to indicate chance of successful free throw. Perfect is 100% a bit late or early would be 80-90 etc
