fair enuf if thats how you feel, but i ask you where's the footage?

there is a ton of nba footage on the web, so find me footage of 3 other players currently in the league who have that move in their game, where that move is actually apart of their arsenal...its one thing to say they're NBA players and its a standard move...so if true, you shouldnt have any problems producing some footage...

im not sure you can even find 1, but lets say you can, ok, so thats 2 ppl, but 2 ppl is far from standard fare....so im asking you or anybody to find 3 players who can pull off that move and we can agree to call it standard nba fare...

but if you cant, then just maybe every player in the game shouldnt have access to that move....

good luck!

edit: the vid is amazing btw, please dont let what im saying take from that, still imo, every player shouldnt have access to that move...or atleast it should coincide with a certain skill level, like footwork or something...and anyone not at a certain level shouldnt have access to such a high level move...

In 2K11, on the odd occasion, there was a small interaction with player legs. It looked un-natural, but the idea was there. Whether it was intentional or not, I don't know. But the player's legs never went through each other., as if there was some kind of force-field stopping them from clipping. Also, it usually only happened when there an inbound pass, while they were standing still.

Sometimes, if a player got too close in the same scenario, arms would also react in the same way, un-naturally of course, but it was there.

In some cases where there was a dunk, a leg would be 'pushed' at weird angles so as to avoid clipping through a torso.

So it is possible, and would make the games polish a lot more shinier than it already looks...
I will just agree to disagree eye guy. Can it be reduced? Yes. Can it be completely eliminated? Imo No. There has not been a 3d game in existence to my knowledge that was devoid of any clipping whatsoever. Madden, nfl 2k, Allpro, fight night, fifa, COD, Battlefield, MGS, etc. they all have it. As long as the clipping isn't severely impacting gameplay(ex: ball phasing thru a defenders hand on the way into the basket) we will just have to except it.

Backbreaker did a GREAT job in terms of minimizing clipping. but I agree. I don't think eliminating clipping all together is a possibility at this point in time.

I think Jesus Christ himself created this video.

I nearly pissed my pants over the Dirk fadeaway.
