I think K. Lumpkin might be a bit underrated , I mean they let go of Cadillac Williams because they had that much faith in this guy. He's rated at a 62 right now , I would have liked to see him in the upper 60's , like 68 or so.
Jeremy TrueBlood is a 71??? I was thinking at least 80 for this guy. He started all last season.
Like another poster said , Mason Foster a 65? Low 70's would have worked.
I expect to see either Price or Miller on the D Line get a stat boost as the season goes on and the same Goes with either Myron Lewis , EJ Biggers , or Elbert Mack to get one as well , whoever they decide to start at the nickel. Right now I believe they have Myron Lewis there.
One last note , I am hoping they actually get Tanard Jackson back , great saftey , way better than Cody Grimm. Same goes for Aquib Talib , great Cornerback , just both of em have some off field troubles. If they are in the game and playing for the team in real life , The Defense will be really nice.
Jabari Greer's speed is too low. At least a 92, the guy is fast ea.
Jonathan Casillas hit power needs to be at least a an 85, dude is crushing guys in preseason.
Malcolm Jenkins needs to be a 90 speed also.
Mark Ingram speed needs to be an 88-89.
Spoken like a tue homer ^. Jabari Greer is good but 92 speed, not so much. He has 92 man, 94 zone, 84 press, with 88 speed and 93 acc. that's puts him as a top corner in the game but he's not elite (which is what the bump in speed would do).
Malcom Jenkins with 90 speed, you must be smokin' the "who dat", as a Saints fan you should know dude was drafted as a DB, but was moved to FS because he was too slow to cover NFL receivers. His speed rating of 87 is a bit generous, he had 85 speed last year.
Casillas 85 hit power, now is 60 too low I could see that, 70-77 seems fair. But 85 is too high.
Jabari couldn't hang with no teams number 1 wr in madden 11. Just a lil faster than they have him is all. I agree with u on everything else. Just want the Saints defense to with other teams.
Is colston really THAT slow? Being totally serious. I never watch saints games. But I know how lethal their passing game is, and this just seems way too low. Maybe 86 but, not 83.
83 does seem a little low, but he's a big possession WR that relys on his route running and catching. He can still get past people tho so idk
True, other then that maybe I think they got the Saints ratings spot on. Malcolm Jenkins is the best player in our secondary not Greer, but he's only been a FS a year so his ratings will come
First let me establish that I am a Panthers fan, but I support all the NFC South teams when it's not vs us. So these opinions will be unbiased.
Marques Colston's speed at 83 (one less than last year) is straight disrespect. Is he a burner, not by any means, but when TE Jimmy Graham has better speed (85) somethings wrong. Colston should be around 86-88, but with mid 80's acc, giving him the speed to get down field but he'd need a bit longer to get deep because he doesn't have elite burst.
As far as Greer to be successful you must use what he's good at, which is press man. So to allow him to cover the #1's you need to create pressure to get to the QB. You can't sit back in Cov 1/Cov 2 man and expect him to last too long. Especially considering how "strong" man defense was last year.
How u feel about the panthers? Are the ratings cool with u?
I would Bump Ingram's speed up to an 88 as well as Colstons. Ingram should be rated around 82 overall. Sedrick Ellis should be bumped to an 88 overall as well.
The issue with players like Colston is speed is king in Madden and being a tall Possession receiver doesn't transfer over well from real life into Madden. The only way to combat the issue is to bump up his speed.
Robert Meachem- catch rating is lower than Jimmy Grahams???? I love Jimmy but there is no way from watching both of their play that you can support that decision. Bump catch to 83
Chase Daniel- I have only gotten to see him in pre-season that being said I think he is a more than capable back up and should have his THP bumped to 85 and THA to 80.
Based on Colston's mid 4.5 forty speed, I think the best he should get is an 85 speed. I'm perfectly fine with 83. Problem is there's guys who run the same times as him who are given 90 speed ratings.
No way to justify that, Ingram ran a 4.62 40 at the combine, he doesn't have top end speed. Every scout/ananlyst shares the opinion that he's not a home run hitter, but he can get yards in chunks because he has good burst, he's hard to bring down, and he makes people miss in the hole.
Just because speed is over-effective in Madden doesn't justify a players speed being boosted to be a better "Madden Player". Colston isn't fast in comparison to other receivers and DB's, when he makes plays vertically he uses his frame 6'4", and leaping ability (ala Fitz) to box out the DB and attack the ball at it's highest point. He doesn't run past anyone, but he can get deep.
Panthers look good. I'm hoping our rookie Joe Morgan makes the team so they can add him on madden. He fast. What about Jabari at 90 speed at least?

That's the point EA can't transfer over the effects of being a huge receiver into Madden. Regardless, Colston deserves a higher speed rating.
As far as Ingram's speed goes columbine speed and gameday are two different things, a bump to Ingram's speed is more than justifiable.
I don't even think there is an argument that Colston isn't getting robbed in the speed department this year......
Ingram's rating is spot on cause his Acc is what like a 96 or something? He ran like a 4.6 or something at the combine but he ran the fastest 10 yd burst in the 40 for either just the RBs or the entire combine. Which is why he'll succeed in both the NFL and in Madden, he's got that quick burst to hit the hole and gain consistent yards then he still has the speed and moves to hit an occassional home run.
I would definitely bump Colston's speed a bit (but EA has never really given him speed. It's the curse of Yahoo marking him as a TE his rookie year) and, for me, the BIG thing that needs to happen is bump all of Moore's catch ratings up. This guys is pure money and that's why the Saints just gave him a lot more of it. He will do whatever it takes to get the catch.
I would like to see what happens on the opening day update in regards to the RT situation. Stinch was released, and, at the moment, Strief is starting.
