Great, Alabama is overpowered again. A+ on defense, yes. A rated offense no. Great line and RB, no Julio Jones and breaking in a new QB with a combined three years on campus.

Overall, in terms of how the game looks, I'll have to agree with Christian McLoed's assessment of the game in his preview. The running animations and tackling animations look very polished, and while there seems to be a bit of a gliding feel, its nowhere near what it used to be. I love that. One thing I am disappointed with is the commentary. Too many dead zones where Kirk and Brad arent saying anything. Also, I didn't notice much improvement with the crowds
The issue is, until they tell us they added sliders for user games, for those of us who enjoy ranked matches and online dynasties we are stuck with the crappy default settings. Pass rush is a big deal and needs to be a factor out of the box

I do have a problem with how accurate the QB threw the ball while on the run though, definitely agreeing with other posters here about that. Maybe sliders will be able to fix it...

Yeah, he has a guy hanging off of him and throws a perfect pass

Jesus you guys are so negative about this game...pasta said that NCAA played smoother than Madden and looking at all the Madden videos that game is going to bounce back like any other game I have seen ever, and if NCAA is supposively playing better than Madden is then this is going to be a great year.

Stop complaining, its contagious.

I don't remember these helmets being shown before, but I could be wrong. Just something I noticed.

Bro....what Pasta says is his opinion, and that's great, but the video is fact, it exists, it happened, it is right there for everyone to see. You saying you don't see any of the issues people have brought up with your own eyes?

Nothing like it? Oh I don't think I'd go that far. I hope they would've made some advances in 5 years.
your right, both are football video games, my bad.

since I rarely ever sell video games, I still own NCAA '07 through 11. '07 does not look nor play like NCAA 11. so unless NCAA 12 reverts back to what NCAA '07 was in visual and gameplay, I will maintain that they are not the same.

FWIW, my original statement wasn't directed at you specifically, just a general statement about what some people usually say every year no matter what was changed.

I hate seeing close up pics of the crowd. It just throws everything off. They look like cardboard cut outs.

And everybody has one of the following 3 poses:

Arms at the side
Arms folded
Arms on the hips.

First thing I noticed: The new lighting. Very dramatic results.

Second thing I noticed: "He hits a booming kick." Commentary. Is. Old. This needs to change for '13 without a doubt.

Third thing I noticed: Passing seems unrealistic. Dude is falling down backwards and throws a perfect near-40-yard bomb to the endzone.

The new SEC wipes are nice, but this looks nor sounds anything like a TV-broadcast. Since I didn't buy '11 I can justify purchasing this year, but had I bought '11 I would probably pass.

The crowd isn't perfect, but it blows last years away.

And is it me, or is there a giant in the crowd?

# 73 canes21 @ 06/08/11 04:39 PM
Well, that tackle on the very first run was nice. About all I have to say.

After turning the game down to slow speed and adjusting the sliders, this looks like it could be a really fun game. I for one, am really excited about it!

Wow, 07 looks like a PS2 game compared to 11 and 12.

As far as game play is concerned, the tackles look great. That tackle on Richardson was just WOW!! Much better than what I was expecting. My biggest gripes for 11 was zone coverage and CPU's QB running ability. Allegedly, both have been fixed. Although, we won't know for sure until we get our hands on the game. My other concerns are the CPU's running ability (specifically out of the spread) & pass rush in user vs. user games. If those aren't up to snuff out of the box then, hopefully, they can be somewhat alleviated with sliders, tuners or a patch. Either way, there's no reason to get worked up over it now. At least play the demo and get some hands on experience with the game before you grab your pitchforks.

Odds are the version we are watching right now in these vids is a more advanced build than what was submitted for the demo. Try to play it off all you want but there is reason to be alarmed.

it's no biggie by now everyone should realize that the ratings are random

just got to edit them to your likings....

if the qb's are too accurate for offline users the sliders should fix that problem

not making an excuse for them but i think all this garbage about legal actions forces them to just use random ratings
