Too bad Madden hasn't taken this approach from year one this gen. This game looks great.

The Eagles broadcast shots looked fantastic. Not much to get excited about on the gameplay video (apart from the tackling) but it's certainly a big improvement and I can't wait for this game

Cool videos. In the gameplay videos the ball physics looked great, but the presentation videos looked like the same thing we've had all year. Maybe the gameplay segments were newer?

Both videos looked awsome. I love the tackling and it looked good. I'm also loving the presentation camera angles aswell. It looks so real and all. But one thing that concerns me about the gameplay in video number 2. Is when Vick snaps the ball. The Giants DE are going to far out to the sides then coming back in and going after the QB. Why are the DE going out that far just to get to the QB. It seemed that both DEs was doing the same angles to get to the QB. Plus the DEs was not using no sort of swim move to try and free themselves from the tackles. Why didn't one of the DEs try going to the inside of the tackle with a swim move. Both DEs was mirror imaging each other when going out to the outside of the tackles to get to the QB. To me that is a concern there. I hope they have more animations then that for the DEs.

...Does this also mean the Marshall Faulk is playable?!?! (Hope so)

Wow. Awesome. Well worth my 17 minutes

Nothing new, but good to see the already announced features in more detail.

Yea I was thinking the same thing. It would nice if EA got the rights to some of the past players to put into the game as HOFers to play in Franchise mode. Guys like John Elway and Barry Sanders. But I wouldn't hold my breath on that. With the recent lawsuit the former NFL Players had with EA about them putting those NFL players in Madden from years past. I doubt EA is going that route again. But who knows. EA might payed some of those players or got permission to use their name in Madden12. It could happen. I guess we will find out later on.

That right there says it all...

I'm really enjoying the marketing this year. It helps that the feature set is for the core gamer, but the teasers + a ton of info last week + these video nuggets has really built my anticipation for this game.

Marshall!!!... that spin move by 'him' looked really good, the whole animation and lack of suction.

Many of those Eagles broadcast shots looked good... especially the catch by DJack... they're going to have to update the folks on the sidelines and end zones pretty soon lol

Revis doing the moonwalk in that vid. I guess skating will still be in the game and puppet oline movement..

Looks like two people max can make a play on ball carrier? I hope you are able to have more guys make a play on the ball carrier...

That has always been the problem in the past. Defensive linemen mirroring each other, doing the same move at the same time and taking the same angle at the same time.

vids look really good.

Small details that finally get put in the game.

Sounds like we're finally getting the product that was displayed to us when the 360 first showed up.

  • I have to say it has me excited as well. They are doing a good job of that this year. Hope they keep it up.

double team pass blocking @ 8:19. in the presentation video

Solid videos. Remember the days of the running on the green screen to show the new running features. This way is so much clearer.

I wished they would of touched on the stat banners (like the vick one) in the 2nd video. But besides that they were very informative
