Check out the Madden NFL 12 article, over at Wired, where they talk about how the game is poised for unprecedented realism. They've also posted the following video.
Something this video really impresses me with is the 3D grass. The players' feet interacting with the ground looks softer and more blended. It adds a very natural look.
He's by far the most underrated running back in the NFL as of right now. He's about to take off this year for real tho. Every defense should be on the lookout for him this year!
I don't know....I like the guy and the way he runs but I can't help but wonder if he was a flash in the pan. Also guys that take lots of hits usually don't last that long so even if he gets another nice year or two I'd be surprised to see him have a nice long career.
I love the way Hillis runs and he can carry a Browns team to a few extra wins, but I don't think he'll last long. Thats not a bad thing though, in my opinion. When someone runs and plays as hard as him, I am okay with him having an early(ier) retirement than the average running back.
I don't think he's boring at all. I love a back who delivers more hits than he receives.
since you guys look at real videos and stuff, i hope you guys can look more deeply into how players run and hopefully you guys at madden and the other guys at ncaa can tune up the running animations as well as the sliding/floating, backpeddaling, sidestepping, acceleration, and deceleration before release... this i think can give a better feel as well as better visuals...everything else is looking good so far.
LOl at unprecedented realism. Will not buy another football game untill next generation if then that is not garunteed. Breaking tackle animations look nice though.
why do they still have the browns wearing brown pants on the road? I know you can change it, but they really gotta make the white on white their regular away uni in this game.
