Yes, in Madden 11 and previous Madden's you would see bowling pin type tackles surrounding the ball tackler.
Now, if a tackler holds onto the ball carrier, another tackler will come in and finish them off.
That is what the videos have been showing so far.

Awful video...Gerald Sensabaugh actually intercepting a ball? Unrealistic
Video was decent.
I do like how momentum is changed after a tackle. And they mentioned ball physics, we didn't get to see much of it. The way a receiver tracks the ball in the air needs work (The Brees pass). The receiver looks downfield and as if by instinct he tracks the ball from over his shoulders to make the catch. If somehow EA gets receivers to look back while running downfield to see if the ball is coming in their direction, that would be huge, but I know that won't happen. The toe catching animations are stiff and seeing it so many times in this video tells me that this will be the next overly-used animation in M12. It's not natural since the passes are near the receiver's numbers. I'd like to see that Santonio Holmes superbowl toe catch where the pass is away from the body, using the receiver's hands.

Lookin good. I love the new collision system. I always hated getting sucked into a tackle.
