I actually enjoyed the demo more than I thought I would. I would have liked to see an option to turn off the exaggerated moves and effects though. I do like the animation and the player models and it makes the Smackdown vs Raw games look and feel flat to me.

I am pleasantly surprised by this game. I actually had kind of high hopes for it, mostly because of what my son has shown me. It is not as over the top as I had seen in the videos, which makes it better.

I am also really enjoying it with the special game pad that I bought my son (but that I now may take for myself! ). It is a very good time playing the game with it.

I like the demo as well. I Love the controls this is what SVR needs FACE BUTTONS. I hate analog. The only thing is the game really needs cpu vs cpu as I really like to have tournaments. Why no cpu vs cpu. This is almost a must for me. I will still get the game but I am going to wait for it to drop unless Cpu vs. cpu is implemented

Fun Demo. Player models gave me that 90's arcade feel all over again. I would think a game like this would be the staple of the franchise as opposed the more "realalistic", if you can say that about a wrestling game, Raw vs. Smackdown.
I wonder why they never put out a demo for that game by the way?

Seriously, I thought this game was going to suck. After playing the demo I am completely caught off guard over how much fun it is.

Devs~ Great job on the demo!

game is niiiice....matches aren't too long...moves aren't too hard to pull off, lots of atmosphere and variety of moves.

Yes, it reminds me of Def Jam FFNY, an excellent game.

It's a fun little demo, but that PS3/360 disparity is inexcusable at this point.

That was the most fun I have had playing a WWE game since N64. Goh why not just open up another Xbox live account and get a free month trial? Check the demo out then delete the account.

Oh thanks I wasn't aware.

I just read that Best Buy has the full game on display to play. Don't hold me to it as I haven't been to Best Buy to confirm.

Haven't played a wrestling game since N64, but I found the demo fun. I doubt I'd buy it at full price, but I might check it out later down the road.

Absolutely love the demo.
My soon to be 8-year-old son and I played 3 matches against one another. He was Rey Mysterio and I was the Ultimate Warrior.

The first thing I noticed was how easy and simplistic the controls were. By the 2nd match, and especially the 3rd, my son was able to pull off a lot of the moves with ease. (and he is NOT an experience gamer. He's played mostly Lego games and DS games so he's pretty much a 2-button player).

With only 2 buttons for strikes and 2 for holds, followed by any button for throws, anyone can play this game.
He also got the hang of climbing the ropes, going out of the ring, charging as well as the finishing moves.

I think he could have played that game all night. He requested this for his May birthday and I think we'll be buying it for him.
I like how the graphics are very cartoony and the violence is so over the top nobody can mistake it for reality. And there's no blood which is a big bonus.

I haven't played a wrestling game in probably 15 years so I'm not sure if this would pass with the hardcore crowd.

But for someone who lived at the arcade as kid and spent a small fortune on a wrestling game that featured Cocoa Savage, this game is right up my alley. And my sons.

THQ really got this right for people who want a fun, over-the-top experience, that almost anyone can pick up and play.

P.S. My son said he can't wait to play the full version so he can smash me over the head with a chair, hahaha.

That is a huge difference. Wondering why at this point.

You guys are "getting it," and that's awesome. You understand what THQ San Diego was going with for this game, and never expected SvR with this game. I applaud all of you

Fun little game. I look forward to playing the full version.

If the experience you were going for is the one my son and I had, then you are BANG on with it.
I'm excited to get this for my son's b'day but I'm also geeked to play it too. Especially with my all-time favorite Macho Man Savage.

Great job guys. I just can't get over how simple the controls and gameplay are, and yet it feels like a deep experience with lots of layers of mayhem to enjoy.
You guys nailed it.

How often is this game going to cycle? I'm all for doing tweaks to make this the actual wrestling yearly game.
