How do you figure? It would have been a good teaser if the images were bigger and there was at least an image related to franchise mode that could give us an idea of what they are changing. Not images of a kick meter and the Madden card game. That's supposed to be directed towards the OS Community?

Man, Bgamer beat me to it. And with a nice graphic.
I'm embarrassed at my text list now Nice work.
I can't read the caption under Ray Rice though, could you post it in just text?

Also, I think the Tomlinson screenshot are tendencies and not ratings since there are no numbers.

Hits can still be violent and have impact in the NFL. You just can't head hunt anymore.

You should be able to get called for personal foul if you go helmet to helmet. If it's in the game it should be in the game.. right? Don't give Madden a pass bro.

Oh and as far as the teaser.. This is the same tactic they use every year as far as I'm concerned. They really need to show gameplay this year more than ever, and just be done with it.

They can have all of these "features" but if the play action is still broken, if there is still tumble weed tackling, motion shifting, psychic db's, Unrealistic player models.. on and on and on, the features are pointless. So lets hope they actually take action this year and fix things.

I'm honestly more interested in NCAA 12, It looks spectacular.. and to me NCAA 11 was a better game than Madden last year, with albeit the same issues. But, if they can fix gameplay issues, NCAA 12 could be the football title to beat.

The only way we could have gameplay at a showable state at this point in the cycle is if we didn't touch it.

THANK YOU. AJ, you should be around here far more often to smack down people.

I'm with you. If they get adjustable player tendencies in NCAA 12 so we can finally get MICH QB #16 playing like Denard Robinson then I'm all set.

But you also gotta admit that there were some good things in this video (Custom Playbooks, Player Tendencies) and if there is some more good news on April 28 and May 16th from Madden it will make for a tough choice this summer when it comes to picking the better football game.

"Dynamic player ratings"

Yeah sorry about that. Should have pic it in a different color.

And thanks guys.

Are you happy where madden is in this part of the cycle? Were you surprised how different it is to be on the other side now?

# 70 Bgamer90 @ 03/22/11 11:55 AM
And good point about the player tendencies btw.

Haha, nice.
We're always gonna want more info but overall I think it was a good teaser. Did I mention player tendencies?
Hopefully, there will be some more big improvements released in April and May.

I'm not, I'm telling you what EA told us a few years ago.
Don't give the NFL a pass.

Plus, penalties don't even work yet in Madden. Only holding, facemask and clipping work.

Roadman is right the nfl and ncaa can put the cabosh on anything in the game. Years ago ncaa said no to tearing down goal post when it was already advertised in the game. same with helmets coming off and personal fouls. Personally the only personal fouls i would like to see in is horse collar, especially seeing that its a tackle animation already in the game.

bro.. get over yourself. I know what a teaser is.

I'm saying that this "teaser" was pointless IMO. What problems have plagued the madden franchise for the past 6 years? Gameplay. I'm sorry, I'm not with the blind faith crowd.

Madden has been such a dud for the past few years. Why wouldn't it be any different this year? The point is they have MUCH to prove. A pointless teaser (as I see it) isn't compelling enough for me to jump back on the madden train. This is just the hard truth, and I don't know how else to say it.

First, stop calling people "bro".

Second, you don't know what a teaser is. A teaser is to give someone a taste of something. Do they show much in a teaser trailer for Thor or Cap'n America? No, they generally show the main character doing something cool for a few seconds and then put a date up.

Like AJ said, gameplay is not in a state to be shown. The fact that you keep coming in here with a viewpoint that is far more useless than the teaser, which showed off NEW features in a game that is more than 5 months away from hitting our mitts, is ridiculous. That teaser was not pointless.

I agree with you that gameplay should be improved. But guess what, everyone here wants gameplay to be better. To think anyone is fine with Madden stagnating is being ludicrous. I fail to see many people "jumping back on the Madden train", I see a lot of rational conversation, which you are not adding to.

Now that I've gotten that off my chest, I do feel like some of the features shown in the teaser are pretty exciting. To have some sort of tendencies and hot/cold players is a good start, I think, for Franchise. I'm definitely intrigued to see what they have next.

This is a shot in the dark as I am not sure if I am seeing it correctly. But looks like there could be dynamic attendance in this game.

In the two FG scenarios you can see in Green Bay the stands are full when the kick goes through. In the Miami FG attempt it looks like there are alot of empty seats at the FG goes through.

I am just interested in a legit gameplay overhaul though. So I will save my thoughts for a later date.

Gameplay will be the third week of April, not the teaser video. The schedule of events for releasing information was given yesterday.

bro, you need to stop taking it so seriously about me calling people bro.

Anyway, I just stated an opinion. If that makes you upset. I can't help you.

And I'll say it again. This teaser was pointless IMO. I have seen other teasers like for instance Super 8.. I want to see that movie YESTERDAY. The trailer for Captain America.. Ehhh.

The Madden trailer failed to tease me enough to be interested. Is this acceptable enough for me to say without being scrutinized? bro?

Then you will need to wait like the rest of us and determine if the scheduled release of information is still pointless to you.
