Game is visually pleasing, but that has never once been a problem, in my opinion.

I agree with several of you right now, that us gameplay fanboys, are kinda skeptical of EA's priorities, because I am.

Also I agree, who plays from the ankle camera. The problem with still frame shots and edited or trailer type videos (EA's basic marketing strategy) is that is doesn't show any gameplay, and can be twisted in any which way.

Once the first gameplay video is released I will start to form an opinion on the game itself, and not speculate based on EA Tiburon's track record (which IMO is very bad).

This alone is better than all of the info from NCAA 10 (FG Nets, Windsocks, ect.). I'm loving the direction of this team. Big leap for 11 and I hope it continues for 12. It's not perfect but it's progression it better than...you know, the other EA football team.

Agree with the crowd looking better. Pause the video at 1:11 and you can see that there clearly is more detail there. Also, they appear to have changed #6 facemask and gloves on or off throughout. There also appears to be various lengths of dreads, some go about halfway down the number and are fuller (:37), some go to the top of the number (1:11). Also agree that at 1:05, you can see Miami's band

Whats funny is most of these "gameplay 1st and only fanboys" Always state they only played the game for a couple of days or 2 weeks than sold it. Is there anyone complaining about gameplay that has logged 700+ games??

I'm ecstatic dreads are in the game this year. Now after taking a second glance it looks like players will kick up grass when running, now that's just awesome.

Solid to begin with.

Obviously, you can't expect anything big from the outset. You've got to slowly build that anticipation so that by summer, the previous upgrades don't become a dud.

I will say though, I'm a broke college kid and I didn't buy Madden last year while I've gotten NCAA the past 2 years. Madden 12 is already on my priority. The NCAA team will have to blow me away w/NCAA '12 for me to purchase their game. Just plain economics, although I gotta admit, it's going to be hard not to get the game after my school's first taste at success in a long time (Stanford) with my boy Luck.

Look man, you can't hold me responsible for that. I am very forgetful. I was supposed to wake my wife up for a Doctors appointment the other day and I totally forgot. Now she can't get another appointment for 6 weeks.......

But seriously I hope the Defense is much improved as well, and if I remember I will wake you up when I hear something.

The lighting is cool but one question I have is why are the rays of light from the stadium lights going in front of the players when the light is behind them and also showing up behind them when they are facing the light?

I love how when videos, photos, and/or blogs, are released about a particular part of the game, instead of discussing that info/photo/video, people complain about whats not being shown/talked about.

Gotta love OS.

Now the only graphical detail I need to see is weather and player faces. I wonder how the snow/rain looks with the 3D grass. I want to if they added more generated faces since they added dreads. Dreads will probably be available to only a few faces.

People saying RTP is not going to happen because that one animation is visible are wrong. NBA still used canned animations, they were just determined by RTP. If RTP were to be put into NCAA, then it would more than likely be the same way.

I love how no matter what gets posted, whether it be in the NCAA football forum or in anything else, it always turns into Roll Tide v. War Eagle. It is seriously annoying.

That said, Boomer Sooner!

On topic, game looks amazing and I will fall for the trap once again

The game looks phenomenal, I've been waiting for when they add realistic 3d grass instead of that 2d "picture" grass. The lighting makes it so much more realistic looking. With that said, hopefully it doesn't slow down the fps because I couldn't handle anything worse than what it is right now.

Well seeing how 85-90% of the time the game is seen from this view...

Would it kill them to release one shot like that?

Meh..... Madden/NCAA always look great in stills. Soon as you see it in motion though you wish you remember how robotic all the players are.
