NCAA Football 12 News Post

Tradition Football recently received an email from Ben Haumiller.

He's looking to identify where the home team band sits, in preparation for NCAA Football 12, from the looks of it. Let's give an assist to what Tradition Football has already started, by following Ben's directions.

The Gaming Tailgate also has a very well organized thread on the same topic.

Quote:
"What we need is to identify where the band sits at each stadium. We only need to know where the home band sits since we already know where the away section is for each stadium.

The preference would be either photo reference/circling the section on a seating chart image over just a written description of the locations."

If they need gameplay improvement suggestions they only have to open 50% of the posts on this forum. So they hardly have to ask. Heck if they DID ask I'd wonder why they aren't paying attention. But the band thing has never been touched on, so they asked.

The band sits in the bottom part of Section EE on the East (non-press box) side.

- Section 21 is where you will find the band. Depending on band size, it has varied from 1/2 full to the entire section.

The Auburn University Marching Band sits directly behind the flower bed in the student section. Section 23, and part of section 21.

I forgot to add the UNM Band is called the "University of New Mexico Spirit Marching Band." NMSU is the "Pride of New Mexico."

Penn State's is in the corner of the endzone by the Tunnel where they come out (Penn State Sign).

Come out of the tunnel...PSU sideline is opposite of pressbox, Band is in the corner of that sideline by the tunnel

I just want to point one thing out with all the photo submissions.

What is breaking this game and causing so many problems with representing realistic gameplay is the "Player to Field Size". In these submissions, there is room for things to happen during gameplay where as, the field is just way too small which causes the ratings to react in a small box.

The ND picture a couple of post above is awsome.
Can you see how actual lanes on Special Teams would develope?

Sorry for the side step. I just got excited about what could be if actual representation was like these pictures.

Back to what's important, the "Bands"!

Toledo's Band is simply known as The Rocket Marching Band or RMB for short. They sit in section 14, the middle of the south endzone.

Come back when you realize the people that are wanting feedback for this are with a different team than the team that's over game play. Plus, my IQ dropped trying to read that.

Ok, everyone, we found a troll. Don't feed them, just move along.

# 59 thekodinator @ 01/26/11 02:59 AM
BYU's band is in the center of the north endzone, halfway up the stands.

Minnesotas band is located at the bottom of the closed end of the stadium behind the goal post in the boxed section for them that says "Pride of Minnesota"
