Can someone help me out? I cant find my CAP *WHEN they are assigned to a team* but when they are just created and not assigned I find them easy. To find them would I just need to find the team in the editor? where are teams located i dont have time to go through hundreds of players is there a certain mark where you find user created teams?

Check offset 000829F0.

The first CAP might appear later than that, but he shouldn't appear earlier.

Use the search function on the hex editor and make sure you change the search criteria to hexa decimal.

If your looking for your cap QB you should type in 000005, OLB should be 0A0005 and so on.

Does anyone happen to know the offset number for any of these legends?

Dexter Manley (Rollers DE)
Dan Saleaumua (Scorpions DT)
Elvis Bethea (Cobras DE)
Keith Millard (Gunslingers DT)
Reggie White (Beasts DE)
Randy White (Werewolves DT)

I would love to take a look at these legends' rating strips and compare them to what a CAP's rating strip looks like.

wEEman33 - The easiest way to find those guys is to add them to your team, save it to flash drive and then edit them. I believe the number to start off is 000843E0.

Rayp - the area were the created players are located doesn't change regardless of if they're on a team or not. If you haven't done this...condense your editor to where the columns are from 0 to F. The first created player is located on line 000829F0.

Thanks man Ima try that

Fascinating, but WAY to complicated for me. If this is for dummies, I'm at an amoeba and protozoa level.

here is the hex code list for all legends
http://www.fileserve.com/file/gwwWKCW/Hex codes.xlsx

I have a list for generics on legend teams to but with no names, i'll post when i get them all.

The length is 14D from the cap 04 05 06, to the next 04 05 06 code. that is how i do it it's quicker and easier

I put all the legends including the hidden ones on an excel file long ago and posted the thread. I'll bump it up if any one needs it.

Bumping this question:

Quote:
Has anyone figured out if the team names that appear on your uniform can be edited?

I believe there are three spots the team name appears on the uniform:

-- Belt
-- Chest
-- Helmet

Has anyone figured out this data's location in the hex file?

Yeah, I've never found the locations for those either. They have to be in there somewhere. Maybe catcatch could find them if he was still interested in the game.

Hey I found where the stadiums are, and when i edit a created team stadium it works fine but it freezes for CPU controlled teams. I'm at a dead end. Anybody else want to look at it? And I know yu can just change the stadium name but that doesn't change the field surface so some dome teams will have grass.

This is a screen shot of the americans, the two blue blocks are all I changed for the created teams and it worked.
cREATED STADIUM offest: 000CC132 TO 000CC133

Is there an easy way to do this without a flash drive?

Having an issue, when I put a roster on a formatted usb in USB Xplorer, they show up. When I go to look on the xbox 360, only the default roster from the game shows up. When I put the usb back ino the PC, all of the hacked rosters show up. anyone know whats happening?

Does anyone know the offset number for legends you've added to your created team?

I was able to find some legend information starting at offset 00208730. But those are just the legends' names and NFL playing history.

I'm trying to do a full edit of some legends on my created team, and to do that, I need to find the offset numbers where their player data is stored.

# 119 jyoung @ 02/21/12 02:01 PM
I found where the legends on your created teams are stored!

They begin at offset 843E0.

The reason I wasn't seeing them before is because they have no facial structure, so there's a long string of 0000s where their facial structure should be.

This was the one major roadblock I had hit, so now I will be able to complete my 8-team playable NFL roster!

# 120 jyoung @ 02/21/12 05:45 PM
To clarify from the previous post:

Legends on your created teams are scattered among the rest of the generics on your created teams. You can recognize a legend from a generic because the legends have a long string of 0000000000s where their facial structure should be.

ALSO

I think I found where "free agent" legends are stored on the roster file!

First one is at offset: 9DDB0

It starts with QBs, and then gradually goes through all the other legends position by position.
