Nice. Thanks for the organized post Steve.

I hope we get a hardcore sheet this year as well!

Oh yeah, you know that is coming. Always huge when they announce the full list of features.

I wonder what other kinds of things have been changed with Home Run Derby. Maybe they'll incorporate a commentary track and progressive lighting to the mix! Maybe their new camera system also has a different flight pattern this time around. Last year it would readjust to the height of where the ball was going to land for a home run, so if you hit a 330 foot shot off the top of the foul pole, it would follow the ball much more appropriately than if you hit a 500 foot shot into McCovey Cove.

I will order today, but I want to order from Amazon.

I do not see any "pre-order MLB.TV" information on there... so I hope we can get confirmation if this is a Gamestop only thing or not. I hope not.

I prefer getting from Amazon over them if I could.

lot of hype for the challenge of the week.
i see that bombing big time.
for sony to not use franchise as a bullet point for the game store ads worries me a bit.
makes me think its just the usual minor upgrades.
it REALLy could use a refresh.

I'd like to see it say: all new franchise!

What do you mean by "refresh"? It is pretty damn deep, tuning needing to be done to logic, yes, but for "refresh" I am confused.

Hey Enigma.
I meant like a reboot of the mode.
Kind of like what they did with Madden on the Wii this year.

Change the menus, clean it up, make it easier to navigate.
add something like a main MLB.com page like 2k with headlines.
make it look like a new mode.

if they can do that and still keep the deepness that it has then i'd really love it, more than i already do.

But instead of layering more little things each year, just reboot the whole look and come at it from a different angle.
So it'd be the same franchise at the core, but not really.

its looked the same for a few years now.

Madden on ps360 did it for 10, changed the look of the whole thing and kept the core franchise experience, faulty as it was.

I didn't explain it as best as I think i could have but i am hungry

Oh, you mean like new interface and menu layouts and such!

I am sure there are things on tap with that, and we will see information in the future on it.

If anything I would like to see refinement and not a lot added to be honest. If they did that I would be happy.

Co-op sounds great!

Quick question though, when you win a championship, do they add the championship banner? Something I noticed that isn't there. It would make it a bit more realistic and I'm really hoping they add it to MLB 11!

I'll still get the game guranteed probably, but I want to wait and see what changes if any they make to RTTS and Franchise before I preorder

"True HD with superior picture optimization, DVR-controls and streaming live content will ensure your never miss a crucial moment."

True HD- does that mean this game will finally be optimized and not up scaled to 1080p? Playing the game on 1080p last year literally looked the exact same as playing on 720p. Hopefully there is full 1080p support.

That's for MLB.TV, not MLB 11: The Show.

A short list of features mentioned on the new Show site:

- Pure Analog Controls
- Challenge of the Week
- Karros joins the Booth
- Co-op Gameplay
- Performance Evaluator

Karros! If he's in, I wonder who is out?
