If you edit sliders at all aren't you really playing on Custom sliders and not All-Madden or All-Pro? It confuses me because NCAA has difficulty levels but I don't believe Madden does. Could someone clarify for me.

Didn't get an answer. What's the overall impression of the patch? Better, worse are just the same?

Any more User vs User impressions,I only saw 1 after digging through 9 damn pages, apparently you can't make a thread on it seperatly b/c it'll get closed,only fregin forum that nitpicks.

Anyone have any info?

For me, better, better and tighter pass coverages. I had my custom defensive pass reaction sliders up to 75 prior to the patch. I've lowered each to 50 and they are better at 50 post patch than 75 prior patch.

Can anyone offer user vs. user results on default All Pro? I play online franchise exclusively and since there are no sliders in the OF, I'm looking to see what the impact is at those settings.

Well for me it is the same. Improved in a few areas but took a few step backs in other areas, so in the end, it balances itself out to unbalanced game play basically.

If you are a user vs user player then yeah this patch did wonders for you. For offline players who play higer then all pro, then no.

So in the sense one can't really say it is bad or good, because it really depends on what kind of player you are. Whether it is on all madden, all pro, custom between all pro & all madden, online player, offline player.

This isn't one of those universal it is good or bad across the board type of patches. Some like it, some don't depending on the mode they play on. More geared towards online user vs user game play.

It is what it is.

Good to hear. I still have my copy but, I was going to trade it in. Maybe I'll hold on to it and try out the patch.

Thanks man,we play on allmadden(online) and sometimes the man defense is a little overbearing so I'm assuming it'll be alot worse where the CBs run better routes,that's ok with me tho b/c I like a defensive game,I just hope they take better angles into the flats.

I was thinking the same thing.

It sat on my self for a month collecting dust. Now, it has picked up shelf life.

the other thing is if I had it on All-Madden he probably would of thrown for 800 yards

After 4 games with this patch I'm not really seeing anything different sometimes the pass coverage is good sometimes it isn't, sometimes I get running room sometimes I don't. The pass rush may be a little better, but nothing crazy

the d-line gets pass the o-line to fast on every and i mean every play. thats not real football!

also i see the DBs are a lot better but why do the WRs drop more balls and the DBs are still beating my WRs to the spot before i throw the ball...

This is the single reason I stopped playing madden in the first place. Without dropping the pass defense awareness below the CPU always beat my guy to the spot. IMO, this isn't real.

Seems like this patch might be tuned for slow playing speed, not normal playing speed?

Does anyone have a quote from Ian and co. about which speed the gameplay is tuned for in general?

Ok I played two games last night.

Two things I've noticed,
DB defense is definitely better, I'm seeing a lot more swats.
DT's now have more impact, and passs rushing in general. My D-Line and the Blitz was definitely getting t o the QB more effectively. I was playing on All Pro on default sliders.


2nd thing I noticed, which I like a lot. The Juke move is effective again. After the last patch, they nerfed down the Juke move and elusiveness because people complained there were too many broke tackles. During the last patch, it was nearly impossible to juke the cpu, now its effective again and running is a lot more fun. Last patch I could only use Trucking backs, now I can use either a Trucking back or Elusive one.

Idk, never had a problem with jukes. I play ALL MADDEN w/ 0 HUM break tackle.

Heisman? We talking about Madden right?

And Juking was definitely nerfed the last patch. The juke effectiveness radius was very small, now I can juke the LB in the hole when I'm 4 yards away from him.
That was very hard to do in the last patch.

I know this isn't an impression and I hope I don't get in trouble for asking, but does anyone know where offline players can download the patch on a flash drive?

jus like in the nfl with 4 wr an 1 rb a draw is a great play not an exploit the d is reacting to the 4 wr on 3rd an long not the 1 rb an jus like the nfl u get a least 5 yds
