Well, still gonna upset some people that some key AHL guys are missing, but what can EA really do? Nice to see some ratings adjustments, such as Skinner.

Seems like a good start, at least a step in the right direction, by Christmas I will likely be able to start a serious Be a GM when all the A guys get in

EA can't make guys sign the release forms. Roster sharing would cure most of these problems. I always wondered why they did it with NCAA, but nothing else. Just makes it seem like EA wants you to circumvent the NCAA licensing and is telling you how to do it.

Oh well, 2 more weeks.
Because they can't. If a guy play a game in the AHL, they canno't use him until he's signed the PHPA card, and that means putting him on any team in the game.

I've been pretty critical with the update, but after contacting by mail the PHPA, I understood that EA wasn't at fault for everything.

Yep, the update miss players, but all in all, this looks like to be a good job overall.

The PHPA told me that late november everyone should be signed, so I guess mid-december, we will have a complete update.

baaaah. Disappointed that more Heat players didn't get their papers signed. I need me some Nemisz and Wahl action.

I've read a LOT of posts at the EA forums (which always makes for entertaining reading) and from what I can gather it appears that 21 AHL teams are done, with 9 remaining that have not signed their PHPA's yet.

So (for me) it's two more weeks of playing "play now" games until those get done (which I hope will be by the next update).

They put Bobrovsky down to a 77?

They updated Jeremy Morin! He was a 69. Now he is a 74 which sounds about right. I am sure there are other prospects that were updated as well

Most goalies in the game are wrong i think. Just change the rating yourself.

I am looking forward to updating some WHL ratings and marching to the Memorial Cup. All the Junior rosters seem about right, which is exciting to me. Then when the rest of the AHL gets in I will start a be a gm with the correct junior guys and get at least some real life prospects for the first few seasons.

I know on PS3 you have to go to start an online game and it will prompt you that there is a new update. download it and enjoy!

No need, Im just gonna use the roster before this one for my Be A GM....

# 14 bigpun23 @ 11/18/10 10:52 PM
why do the rosters still mess up and do no stay the same when u start a new season or be a gm?

# 15 Gangrel @ 11/18/10 11:57 PM
Because the GMs in the game aren't exactly the same as real life GMs and make their own decisions?

This roster update was a major step in the right direction.....a ton of new players and players back in the game who were removed due to the PHPA stuff.

They did a great job with the goalie equipment as well.

Good job EA - HUGE IMPROVEMENT

I was looking forward to running Season Mode with the WHL too. I figured it would give me something to do until the AHL rosters got squared away and I could get serious with BAGM.

Sadly, I realized yesterday that Season Mode is broken for CHL leagues. Teams who lose in OT are not awarded a point in the standings. Grrrr.

For those who are upset about missing players, you should listen to the NHL 11 Podcast to understand !! Well thanks EA! I hope we'll see regular update till season end.
