Hey guys, the NHL 11 Roster Update #3 is now out and there have been quite a few changes. First off the transactions are of up to date as of Monday night aside from the trade that occurred last night. Secondly the goalies have been fixed and now have colors on zones 7,8,9.
The next bit of news is the PHPA is making the rounds and has done a awesome job of getting us signatures on those waivers. There are about 80 new AHL/NHL players that have been added to the league. There are still some that have not yet signed so hopefully On top of all that some of the rookies that have cracked the NHL clubs have gotten there ratings re-adjusted to the current level they are playing so no more Jeff Skinner in the High 60’s ovr. I don't understand how Carey Price is still rated 83 and Fleury is still an 89. I'm guessing this update wasent really supposed to be about ratings and the next one will. Also, there's no reason Gomez should be rated higher than Gionta. I don't usually complain about ratings in roster updates but these are some obvious changes that need to be made.
I still feel Roster Update #4(360) named "11-18-10" added 11-17-10 sux.
Too many of my AHL stars/NHL prospects are missing still.
I wasted so much time lasts night thinking they fixed most of the "obvious" problems.
This is a great update for Oilers fans!
Hall should not be rated higher then Seguin.
Just cause he was drafted higher doesn't mean he's a better player. So far Seguin in player much better than Hall IMO.
It's like saying Patrick Stephan should be rated 95-99 cus he was drafted before the Sedin twins.
Stephan is known for falling on an empty netter, losing the puck, only to have the opposing team score on his turnover.
Sorry Dallas fans, or Oilers fans
I'm glad EA is taking steps in the right direction, but I'd like more honest opinions from others who have tried these latest updates. It would have saved me a few hours of disappointment.

Yeah I'm a Tool... Downloaded #4 on the 360... How the gods name do I get them to work in a new season???? Every option I selected has the Injured players in.... Please help
So apparently you need xbox live gold to download ea's roster (which is bs). Can someone please give us offline/live silver people the newest roster file to download for the 360? Apparently it still works using modio and the usb application. thanks!
All this roster updating is great but when the hell are they gonna fix which players get sent down when you start a be a gm with the salary cap on. I played around with a few tricks and I figured out that if a player has a two way contract he will be sent down even if he is rated above someone with a one way contract. Since I changed the contracts in the creation zone I have noticed the be a gm mode has worked great for me. I just can't figure out some of these ratings. I've listened to the blog on how they come up with these ratings but if Sheldon Souray is so good and rated an 83, why is he in the minors? Why is Bobrovsky a fricking 77? How come Andreas Nodl a player who has 10 points in 15 games be rated a measly 72? It kills me to not see Stamkos, Crosby or Ovechkin behave on the ice just like Olli Jokinen can. EA focuses on so many non important gameplay fixes and seems to forget about a managing mode that could be light years better. I just trade Maksim Mayorov of the Blue Jackets and a 3rd round draft pick in 2012 for Brad Richards, ummmm how is this possible? Trade logic is so horrible, I really hope they spend there time on Be a gm and working on a better way to progress players and please for the love of the game fix the damn presentation it is so bad. For some reason after all this nagging I still find myself playing this game over and over again. It's almost perfect, I just hope they get it right to a 100% the next game.
