NCAA Football 11 News Post

One of the best parts about playing a college football video game is all the teams available for use. I have been playing NCAA Football for close to eight years, and I have basically tried every single dynasty path possible.

However, before I get to talking about dynasty paths, I would also like to add that in every single dynasty, there are three important tasks that I will always complete before I start playing games.

Since they began having multiple team dynasties, I've been mixing all of those options. I have a powerhouse team that can dominate, BCS busters, and middle of the road teams. It adds variety to each game as each team runs a different style offense and defense, plus I get to see more teams. The only drawback to running so many teams is it takes that much longer to get through a week. With a 12-team dynasty, one week in that can take as long as the regular season.

I have 2 dynasties going one with my Hurricanes and a one-two star. I always look for a one or two star team to take on and my first one is Marshall. I am in my second year of both dynasties. UM lost the BCS title game to Alabama and we are smarting from that loss. We are about to kick off the second season.

Marshall is currently ranked 12th in the country at 9-0 after going 5-7 in my first year. I had a great incoming class though snagging many 3 star recruits and a couple of amazing 2 star diamond in the rough players. We are on our way to moving up to a 4 star program if this keeps up. After our great first class we moved up to a 3 star.

I use Silent Natures sliders which are fantastic.

I also make my own recruits (my son, myself, several friends and such) and add that personal touch to each class. I also create classic players to recruit as well.

I see myself playing NCAA 2011 for years to come. Just an awesome football game and quite possibly my favorite of all time.

I just replaced the entire Sunbelt wit a bunch of technical colleges from my area that don't actually have sports programs. That's got me interested in dynasty again.

Personally, I've found that using the Air Force Falcons, with Houston's playbook, Air Raid, and staying in the Shotgun formation, is EXTREMELY useful..... You score a boatload of points, and rack up yards like nobody's business..... In the first year of your dynasty, with Air Force, your QB, TE, FB, and both HBs are very talented..... The TE almost never drops the ball, and if you switch your catching to conservative in your gameplan, he won't.
Your FB is fast-ish, and strong-ish, better for 3rd and 5, than 4th and 2. Your HBs are FAST, and they're decent at catching, too..... A WR is okay, but nowhere near the level of your TE..... On defense, your LOLB, LE, and RE, are good, and the secondary can hold their own..... You start with a good kicker, but I've never had to use the punter(because of the awesome offense)..... Hope this helped!!!!!

I want to do a multiple team dynasty but am unsure how. I have 3 individual team dynasties going. An EMU, Mich, and FIU one.

I also have the same teams for OD's.

I create a "side" franchise/dynasty with a team entirely comprised of family/friends/close co-workers/mentors/pets......basically anyone who's been significant/close to me at various points in my life. It's a fun distraction and I actually end up playing these franchises/dynasties more than the "real" ones. Just a thought...
I used to do the same. Mainly in basketball or baseball games. I would create all the guys that were on my teams at that time and play with them in the game. It's a lot of fun!

My personal favorite dynasty this season has been my EMU one. They aren't very good to start out with but with a lot of good recruiting classes, I've got them 5* Prestige and a perennial contender for the national title.

I started out in year 1 running a triple option attack and it worked very well for me until I decided I had enough talent and it was time to install my real offense, a balanced attack (much like Boise State's style of play) In 2017, I decided to move to the ACC in order to up my challenge level. I've survived the ACC gauntlet unscathed (7 teams in the ACC were in the top 15 to start the season...a number which didn't include my own team) and I've made it to the ACC championship game against #20 Clemson (10-2). Hopefully I can win my 1st NC this season

I never know what to do when I play with a smaller MAC or WAC school. The first few years are always fun, but after that it's just too easy to go undefeated in the conference, often by blowing everyone out too. Yet at the same time I hate switching my team into the Big 10 or something like that, it just doesn't feel right to me...

:/
