Nuggets #1 on OFFENSE, hmmmm????

Im sure this is not final, there will be a roster update once the game hits retail and these ratings will be a bit different.

Lakers #1 defense, not sure about that, should be like, #2.

But they should have the #1 offense.

Thanks for the post! Nice to see the Lakers are ranked at 1st for defense.

This "ranking" sort of rating reminds me of NBA Live 2003, I loved that, good to see it back in a basketball game.

Glad to see my Lakers at #1 over Miami (as they should be). As far as my 2nd team (Bobcats) they will definitely be relying on solid defense this year, digitally and in real life...

Moe24: Sporting the Lakers icon, says the Lakers should be first in everything, then comments on bench depth...

Why does this have to be so complicated? Doesn't ESPN rank defenses and offenses? Shouldn't they be moderately close? I mean, I get that the Lakers added Matt Barnes. But they were the 5th most efficient defense last year. Does Barnes really catapult them to #1?

I'm not going to argue about the ratings but are those like that because of last season stats? Just asking bucause the overall ranking isn't an average

Woah now, Lakers were #1 in points opponents points??? They were tied for 9th my man.

And the mighty Lakers are ranked fifth in opponent field goal percentage, which is a good barometer of team defense. With points allowed, you could slow down the pace like the Cavs used to do when Fratello coached (Pre-LeBron).

The best barometers to measure defense is not PPG Allowed. You gotta look at FG% Allowed and most importantly, Point differential.

Anywho, how does 3rd in Defense and 22nd in Offense add to that?

Not sure if this was directed toward me, but it is was, that's what I said in my post, except for point differential.

the numbers are off perfect ex(bos def (5) off (7) ovr(6) but chi def(3)off(22)ovr(4)?.another ex( min def(30)off(30) ovr(28)?.there are so many questionable team and player ratings its ridiculous.they should be able to atleast be semi accurate.
