NBA Elite 11 Demo Available NOW For PS3, Tomorrow Morning For 360

It looks like the NBA Elite 11 demo for PS3 users arrives tonight. Most likely, early in the morning tomorrow for 360 users.

Update: Demo dates and time:
Monday, Sept 20th 9pm PDT - PS3 in North America
Tuesday, Sept 21st 2am-6am - Xbox 360 Worldwide
Wednesday, Sept 22nd 9am-12pm - PS3 Europe

Before it starts for those who don't want to read the PS Blog:

This is happening because the PSN is undergoing maintenance tomorrow. They are posting their usual Tuesday night update tonight because the store will be offline tomorrow.

It has nothing to do with 360, although I'm sure people will be considering that one "late" because of this.

and i thought xbox users had the advantage when it comes down to demos. All made possible with psn maintenance lol

Now they just have to update psn then another 3 or 4 hours for it to download then i will be good

next week mma awesome now i can finally make my mind up i normally get both but mma is gettin my money so now its down 2 1 ei lover october nba 2k11 ea mma smackdown vs raw 11 just beautiful and next month GT5 and call of duty 5 hot games ima have on release day

More than ever, that will be the case for me. The past couple of years I just bought both basketball games regardless. This year, not so much. Elite has not wowed me one bit but I'm looking forward to trying it.

They probably only recently found out their demos passed MS certification. Many many times developers have released demo dates only to have it pushed back a week or two because MS' certification for the marketplace is crazy.

I'm not 'in the know' but that's my guess. Could you imagine if they released a demo date then couldn't meet the expectations they had set? It'd give all the haters another thing to troll about.

It was due to approvals we still don't know for sure if the 360 demo is coming out tomorrow. The PS3 demo has been approved by Sony already according to blackflash83 and last time I checked they were still waiting on Microsoft.

They didn't want to give a date out and then have to retract the statement. I can already see that pissing off people if they did it that way so this was probably the best way they could go about it.
