Damn... I just went into practice mode and did every single one of the Isomotion and Shot Stick controls and man it is amazing how much I did not know you could do in this game. It's simply AMAZING!

As well as 2k10.

You could even do it during an out of bounds play in 2k10.

As well as 2k9

What does "moving across the basket" mean? For some reason, I felt like I posted this, but I don't remember if I did.

Basically, elbow-to-elbow. Left block to right block, vice versa.

i can't believe how hit and miss some of these moves are. simple stuff such as a spinning layup is almost impossible to repeat at will in practice mode. what the hell? kobe just seems to do whatever he wants when it comes to layups. but dunks seem to be on point with what the tip window says. so i don't know what the deal is. maybe a bug?

and can someone please tell me what an unused dribble is.

I haven't been in this thread. But I just notice that the in and out and double cross are mixed up. It should be the other way around.

Any tips on posting up because I'm having issues with it.

# 176 jeebs9 @ 10/05/10 05:41 PM
What do you mean posting up? You mean in general how to post up? Or how to do moves? First I would say to hit the Practice post move section. Thats a good place to start. What exactly is your problem though? Is it pump faking too much?

I just had some issues with Dwight. I kept going out of the post animation and had difficulty maintaining it. Perhaps I was getting too fancy, I'll have to check out practice mode later tonight.

I'm in practice trying to get down how the other control types work to see which one I like best. I used alt a in 2k9 with B as the cross over tap x running to hop step etc

Seems that in alt a in 2k11 B spear work for crosses and only Y for spin does anything

In alt c with stick as dribbling I figures out only that right or left does an in & out and up goes behind the back. Stationary moving the stick does the hesi moves. How do you do a basic cross spin etc using the sting for dribble moves??

Does anyone know how to switch from a triple threat position back into a post up position without using your dribble? In 2K8, you could tap R2 to re-engage in the post from a triple threat.

I just need to know how to engage the post up animation while dribbling. For some reason, I can't seem to figure it out.
