"Here is the most recent 'Behind The Scenes' clip from NBA ELITE 11. This clip of OJ Mayo driving the lane is a great example of the all-new Hands-On Control. It combines a shot fake to get the defender to bite, one-to-one behind the back dribble move to get into the key, a pro-hop to create space and a layup to finish. This is user v. user gameplay and as you can see the sticks give you more control than you get playing with the button controls. By playing with the sticks, switching to buttons, then back to Hands-On Control, you will really be able to feel the difference for yourself. You'll be able to experience this and a whole lot more in the demo coming soon to both PSN and XBL."
In the other game ""Does a behind the back crossover manually drives to the hole presses y by itself causing a pro hop lays it up".................i just did all of that in 2k......in full control........................
I really don't understand what you are trying to say. Can you explain your point a little better?
Something else I noticed Crawford first block attempt he comes running to Mayo jumps but there is no continuation of momentum after he jumps he just stops in mid air that is how he is able to get back in the play.
Edit: also why is everyone already running down court before the play is complete Williams tries to take a charge and never get back in the play even to attempt to get a rebound.
at least they got a couple of more followers with this vid...but i feel there just to far behind at this point..imo there was nothing special about this vid..no comparing the two nba games this year...i could pull the same move in 2k10 default controls and in live 10...this is suppose to be elite 11..still gonna get both games..rent one buy one
I dont like how quick Crawford recovered in this clip, he got pumpfaked into the air and then did a speed warp to try and block Mayo. These vids are not helping EA at all, every vid they showed has some speed warp of players.
The game looks like ****. The player travels, the defender does a ******** leap out of the building block attempt on a stupid pump fake, the next defender tries to take a charge and does some crazy slide to stay facing the defender, the help comes late and doesn't challenge the shot, all the other offensive players are running around without any purpose clogging the lane for the drive and basically making non-basketball moves. This game is video basketball from 2006 with perhaps smoother control. Will Da Czar make ten teams in ten days clips for this game - hell no, because there would be nothing to show but how poorly the AI acts. I am surprised anyone who actually loves the game of basketball is looking forward to this game when there are obvious better options that replicate and pay homage to the game. The disparity is immense.
Did it ever occur to you all that complaining that mostly the same guy makes all these videos and maybe just maybe the behind the back is his goto move? They've shown alot of different moves if you pay attention and this is user control so I am not really worried about that. Verts can easily be edited if its not up too par by release too so thats a non-issue. I just need that demo now ea...

You know what, you're absolutely right, which is why I have an issue with this
Because Crawford hits the invisible wall to recover on defense, only to get right back in front of Mayo to make this super spectacular def defying block attempt
Thats just all wrong man... This game is again going to need some major ratings adjustments
Def. regressing in video quality. Serious aren't we past these little, "I was playing the game and saw something cool". You guys just need to flood us with 5 on 5 gameplay videos.

Im sorry man but you know good and well that aint no go to move. They dont have go to moves in this game, this is not NBA Live 2008
Raymond Felton was doing this, Melo was doing it, LeBron was doing it... dude it was in all of the magazine scans and everything... Its just a generic dribble move and thats why it was in every video.. unless Nash has Mayo's go to move as well http://media1.gameinformer.com/image...Media/GI01.jpg

The only time EA will confess to how bad Elite was..is when ELITE 12 drops and they will show vast improvements over 11. "In elite 11 lats year, our emphasis was controls. In elite 12, we're bringing a whole new array of animations using our rtp system, giving the user more contact/physical play"
or something bs like that.
I hate that.
I still want this game to do good, Live 10 was great imo, I liked it better than the other game. which is why im not so quick to jump off the ea bandwagon, they can do it.
