"Damon Bruce is the host of San Francisco-based KNBR's "The Damon Bruce Show", on KNBR 1050, broadcast live from KNBR's downtown studio. The show airs from 12-noon to 4:00pm, M-F on KNBR 1050. Pacific Time.
Bruce joined KNBR in October 2005 as the host of, Sportsphone 680. Along with his hosting duties on Sportsphone 680, Damon Bruce also served as the post-game host of the San Francisco Giants, San Francisco 49ers and the Golden State Warriors. Im glad 2ks not saving stuff to sell us next year they could easily split this up and sell different features like ea does. Its kinda crazy the how much value you get in this game, all thats left is to fix the servers and imma be a sim junkie this season
If 2K has finally given me the halftime show that I have been begging for years for, im going to scream like a little school girl. With everything the devs have done with NBA2K11 a NFL2K5 style halftime show or atleast something close to will put the final stamp or icing on the cake for this game. This will be the NBA game I have been dreaming of.....
Does anybody remember last year when they said they captured 9000 animations but only could manage putting half of them in the game. I believe they probably had a lot of things already in the bank to work with and it was all a matter of fine tuning these aspects as time went on. Thats probably how they were able to curve the difficulty of working on such a short dev cycle. Work smart not hard. I definitely applaud them for getting this much work done, and if they announce anything else my head will explode.
That halftime show is better than every Madden that came after 2k5.
Man that is so so true. And I actually like Madden.
2K5's Halftime Report just felt so alive and connected to the actual game instead of just a generic repeat video. It was so entertaining you actually sat and watched it like it was on TV.
I've been reading through a lot of these comments and i noticed that a lot of you people are excited due to the announcement of "Damon Bruce" doing the half time show.
Can someone fill me in on who this guy is (well i know he must be some sort of radio commentator) and basically why the half-time show is assumed to be so great now that he is on it?

well considering that they havent gotten to the presentation insight, online insight, and association insight, your head is in DANGER. Ronnie even said that a BIG focus was on online play this year too.
I'm all for presentation in sports game, but by still having a last gen game as a benchmark, this news doesn't satisfy me completely, I wanna see a weekly recap show!!!
but anyone get the feeling all these improvements are too good to be true. the game seems such a big step up from 2k10 that i can see it maybe falling aflat for a few people if everything isn;t as perfect as all this news and features and vid are makign it out to be.
as i say im not being to serious as im excited as anyone else. but there is this space at the back of mind saying "tone down the excitement, as this much hype gives a much higher chance of dissapointment."
of course im 70% sure this wont be the case but i just had to get it off my chest. im still more excited for this game than any other in history. but i have a feeling that could backfire on me. (2k10 was a big dissapointment for me.)
After watchign Czar's playbook footage, I can't help thinking the half time show will be sick. If they talk about the details of plays, defense, ect, man...
