NBA 2K11 Demo Set For September 14th, Lakers vs. Celtics (PS3, 360)

The NBA 2K11 Facebook page has been updated with a demo date of September 14th. You can choose between the Lakers or Celtics.

We will update this post as more details are released.

*UPDATE: The demo will be 1 quarter at 5 minutes, on default pro difficulty. Audio will be stripped down for the demo.

No jokes brotha. Like first week or two, I'm sure Elite will do ok. But by mid-November, NOBODY'S going to be playing that at all. If this game pans out, 2k's looking to be bringing it to a whole other level, like what the NHL series has been doing. Live/Elite could legitimately be finished soon.

Am I the only person that doesn't want to play the demo?

I've done this kinda thing so many times before. I played the PES 5 demo literally non stop about 3 weeks before the game came out and when it finally came out not much really seemed new to me.

I might miss the demo and just get the full game so everything feels fresh when I get it. I'll watch all the gameplay videos that come with a demo, but I don't think i'll experience it for myself.

Probably just me though...

I'm surprised with the date. 2K sure has switched gears with their marketing. They are setting the bar in a lot of ways.

mein i hope that on xbox live this demo is not region locked cause i am gonna b super duper trooper pooper scooper mad(like they did to dead rising 2 arcade game) cause i live in Belize City

I think this shows that this year's game will be more prepared than the last two year's efforts. They're so far ahead of the game.

hmm if i remember correctly demos are released at 5am East coast time! its all fuzzy....i do remember waking up early playing something....
