"Cologne is long gone but we still have a few more videos left to show and tonight it is NBA 2K11's turn to be in the spotlight. Before you watch the video, I want to apologize to all basketball fans for playing so poorly. Clearly, I would have done a better job if I had been wearing a blindfold. Still, even if it is not the best footage ever, you can see the game in action in rather good quality and you get to admire the AI's style. No laughing now right?"

Nah, the dunk are too slow and not better that way, I really don't understand how you can say that^^

Well honestly I wouldn't be using it if they hadn't brought the word out. But it makes sense for what I'm talking about the players seem to be moving a lot more smoothly.

Last year the players animations looked great but there was times when the movement wasn't on the same level. There would be a lot of hitches and unnecessary motions.

And that to me is a problem with locomotion (or general player movement) not so much the animations themselves. The players transition from each move a lot quicker.

Which adds a lot when we get to look at the game at 60fps, it really sticks out when you compare this one to the other vids. Or maybe I'm just seeing things haha

Wade sliced between the D without any real dribble moves there, which is great. You can actually get to where you want to go on the court in an efficient way this year.

Chris Paul is going to be just INCREDIBLE to control this year. Responsive movement + right stick passing = drive and kick heaven! Players actually have proper shot preparation too, FINALLY! There was nothing worse than hitting a wide open shooter in 2k10 and then taking 2 seconds to get the shot up. 2K is starting to add some much needed fundamentals that have been missing for years.

Someone lied, or maybe you haven't seen everything yet?

Exactly... last year was the year of the highflyer, this years going to be the year of the point guard. After downloading this vid to my PS3 and running it on the bigscrene a bunch of times I'm officially hyped for this game!!!!

The speed isn't right, it's very obvious.

My only gripe is the high speed jogging. Slow down the jogging up the court. Thats an easy way to lower the pace and make the game more of a sim without slowing the real full speed stuff down.

I agree with this. I'm not feeling the jog speed at all. But I was thinking they will have a speed slider adjustment for this. I hope this gets corrected or can be adjusted.

Must say 2k11 looks better and better with newer videos coming out. Looks real smooth and looks like it flows realllly good compared to 2k10. BTW I might have missed it did they announce what platform this was on??

The movement wasn't as smooth in Ronnie's game but the AI was smoking. The CPU was making moves like us-folks was controlling them, and the offball stuff was superb. They were beating Ronnie without any of the BS from the past.

Based on all of the vids I would say the series only needs four things.

Euphoria - Just for collisions and shot blocking at first

Variant wingspans- Easier to implement with Euphoria

More coaching strategies

An NFL 2k/College Hoops style show

DWade dunk on this vid actually looked more natural (in terms of speed) than the dunk he had on the other vid (like a slowmo).

is there supposed to be sound?

Man, that vid was smooth like CL. When a vid is that damn good, the few flaws that convince me it's not a RL game are what catches my eye. Namely how Wade seemed to float, just a tiny bit on his dunk. And...that's about it.

I just wish there was sound.

That was definitely your computer then. No comparison at all. This was much smoother than Ron's video.

Loved this video. Dunks, however, did look a "little" floaty, like some say. I'm not too worried about the speed, because I know I can adjust it to my liking.

Imagine if this had ESPN integration.

yeah it would be all over before it started, but EA has that all wrapped up for a long time, but it's surprising they didn't try for another broadcast partner like Fox Sports, or TNT

Otherwise this game looks amazing already, I can't believe all the true basketball methods that have come into play this year

That's the reason i hate the previous versions. Why slow down just to make the game a slow pace?? What happen to just following REAL NBA SPEED? To me, the Ron video is a much better representation of the real speed.
