The TWO main things I want to see this year from Mike Wang and team are.
- A.I. Rebounding
- Online Lobbies
the more videos u c the more u the realization is rendered in my mind that VC team has used a lot of coffee and energy drinks this development cycle on making the nba 2k IP
one thing i wanna point out was after Chris Bosh diped his shoulder and went in for the beautiful run in layup with defensive physical contact,he did an ackward sliding like ice slide motion that spung him around towards the oposite direction to point downcourt

Honestly i don't know how anyone who even remotely enjoyed nba 2k10 can't be totally hyped by that vid.
The single biggest thing for me was how the AI controlled Heat were willing to push the ball up court quickly and take advantage of mismatches and opportunities. All too often in nba 2k10 you would often know which play the AI was trying to run and could predict the next pass. It looks like hopefully those days are long gone.
The presentation is also by far the best we have ever seen in an nba game and i really loved the fact that the user controlled Mavs were being punished for bass passes and drives and in just about every vid i have seen the cpu controlled team has 'won' the quarter. I am really hoping for a challenging game that feels like it can beat me through smart play, mismatches and due to my errors rather than relying on stat boost's, comeback AI and the like.
Bring on 2k11!!!!

I'm hyped. The graphics are smoother and you can see the improved lighting. A+ on the presentation and and graphic interface. I think I read something about a former TNT producer being a consultant and his input really paid off. The 5 second countdown clock is also a nice touch.

The little things I love about 2K11 that were not in 2K10:
-Players having to gather a lead pass.
-Passing into the post is much faster/realistic.
-Nasty blocks from the AI CPU.
-Shot contest seems more realistic. No more jumping in the air extremely high and blocking jumpshots like its nothing(without taking into account body momentum/athleticism/wingspan/footplanting). Also defense recovery speed seems more realistic.
The more videos I watch, the more excited I get.

This is a bit off-topic but I gotta ask, from the Gamescon vids we saw, did you guys notice if the CPU opponent is already adjusting their defensive sets? I mean if they are now throwing zone defenses? Like for example, the Lakers and Celtics are teams who usually don Strong Side Zone defense.

i really cant tell i sill need the demo because this still seems like nba 2k slip and slide...
sliding sliding sliding the single greatest flaw in this franchise, year in and out they nail everything about ballin except the player control and movement..............
i have had enough.....

theres an instant where the player moves forward when passing the ball...i guess its the start of a dribble animation then in the last second the ball is passed out (but you see the feet shuffle)...Dirk does it in this vid (skip to 2:35)...
other than that this is probably the most polished ive seen in a 2k bball game...
