PS3 version is up

I can see a dramatic difference from last year in...

-CPU AI, on offense, on defense. Passing, logic. etc.

-Human Teammate AI. There was a play where Bosh(i believe) had a mismatch downlow against Terry and A.I. on the human side instantly sent a double team to help out, without the German player asking for it. Big props for this

Locomotion, footplanting, Defense looks WAY better.

I need to get this game already.

That dunk by LBJ on Chandler was NASTY!

The feed from D Wade to Bron for the And one at 4:27 was gorgeous. (Even had LBJ having to gather the pass after he recieved it) Also loved the dunk Wade was fouled on at 5:47 and also that deep three from LeBron to end the quarter very accurate showing off the King's range, in 2K10 I don't think that shot is possible.

that dunk by Bron was just nasty!

The cpu knew that the clock was winding down and took a shot (LBJ).

A couple things that stood out to me was Lebrons fumble of the lead pass, then the foul Lebron drew against Chandler, also I was really liking the stat overlay of D.Wade when he was at the Free-throw line. The Biggest standout to me though was when Bosh came of the baseline screen, received the pass then dipped his shoulder down as he drove to the lane with that running hook, that looked so sweet. The game is looking great, rebounding also looks even more polished which I am liking.

Yeah, that seems to be the thing this year for sports games. Show em getting off a bus even though nobody would see that on TV unless it was a big game and their was an hour pre-game show before hand. I think it was MLB2K7 that did the aerial shots of the stadium...that was nice and much more in line with what you see in a broadcast. It would be much cooler to get a blimp view of the stadium and part of the city than show some dude getting off the bus.

Tip passes have been in Live for a while.. And the frequency of tipped passes and interceptions was what I was comparing between this game and Live 10.

In Live 10 you could have the ball intercepted very easily if you didn't have a good passing angle. And I brought it up in this thread b/c a lot of people that have played 2K11 have noticed that interception and deflections are happening more often.

The players hands seem to be much quicker and more active on defense in this game. They now can just stick their hands out to deflect passes instead of always lunging for them.

And besides I wouldn't be surprised if it was picked up from Live because Beluba did get to work on it last year, so I'm sure he brought over a couple things with him for 2K11. So what I'm saying is the tips and deflections aren't anything new but the way they are being triggered is new...

Who cares man, Mike Wang is the originator of the idea in the first place

Lets not go on with this Live vs 2k crap

I have found the cpu to be excellent at being aware of both the clock and what plays it has that can be completed in that time frame. Best I have ever seen from a cpu opponent. Not perfect but the best in that aspect.

HAHA if headbands and high layups are now the communities big gripes after seeing gameplay video in August I think you guys may be in for a good year from 2k.

Looks like they labeled it wrong because the gameplay is from the 360.

Agreed. I haven't been this excited for a sports game since 2K7.

I haven't enjoyed seeing these Germans who don't know the first thing about playing the game. But all the same, seeing how the AI is, even on Pro, taking advantage, spotting up at the right times, driving the lanes at the right times, stealing all the crazy passes into traffic, and flat out not making it easy on the rook...I like it a lot.

Can't wait to get on the sticks myself and see how it all plays.

I agree. And we should be thankful that they upload videos. I assume that some guys there hardly ever play basketball games (or 2K basketball games), it's not like they gathered everyone who only plays basketball games. If you go to any Gamestop store (or whatever), you can see the same thing. Not everyone is good, but it doesn't mean they shouldn't play. Sure, it would be nice to have someone who plays sim style, but it's probably just random people.

But I do like what I see.
you can't honestly expect much of leap in graphics from year to year....the current systems can only do so much, and they have pretty much reached their limit. I mean, until the next generation of systems, the player models are not going to change much at all.

the player models were already about as good as can be on the current systems (with the exception of the razor sharp elbows).
