meh...

I think an improved My Player Mode (create your OWN legend; option of starting off as bad as a undrafted FA or a lottery pick) would be better...But we still have time

The fact that you start out in 2010 makes it lame...I mean where's the tiny shorts and the Sonics?!?!

Its no different than playing with Ali in fight nights career mode...

Overall, Im not much of a fantasy guy anyways...

You know what would be funny is if they went all Matrix-like for online play and made all of the NBA teams have a Jordan team with all Jordans. And all the Jordans would be anywhere from young Jordan to old Jordan. So like every online game would be a team of 5 Jordans of differing looks, ages, etc vs another team of 5 Jordans of differing ages, looks, skills etc. That�d be insane!! They could even have Jordans that never existed, like an all-gray haired, goateed version of Jordan. Like Jordans from an alternate universe. And of course the coaches would be�Michael Jordan. And the refs? Michael Jordan.

It�d be about that point that I�d realize I had slipped into a downward spiral of NBA2K11 insanity and they�d probably cart me off to the funny farm.

NBA 2K12 Kobe Bryant mode:Play as a up and coming hs star kobe and try to relive his notable career moments such as

* the 3 airballs vs utah
*the alley oop to shaq
*the three peat
*midway through career loose all other players with an overall greater than 84
*81 point game
*the celtic game six massacre
*the **** 6-26 game seven
*and much more

Interesting idea. Not sure I would spend time on it though... I'd prefer this mode if it took place in the old school NBA.

i have read the insights
just my opinion
not an ea fan

not sure if any else posted this already
but the real life picture has jordan wearing red shoelaces while the screenshot has black laces
not an important thing or anything
just noticed it and sure it can be changed, its just a screenshot anyway

Beluba, I have a suggestion...

If there were also an option for a fantasy draft of old school guys/legends and generic players, this mode would be alot more intriguing I think. I kinda don't like the idea of the best cats being gone(Lebron, Kobe) by the time Mike reaches his level and I guess I don't like the idea of him being in the modern NBA in general. An old school fantasy draft would be hot.

I am COMPLETELY pumped about the two game modes for Jordan. Playing through his old career in the 80's and 90's sold me, but being able to make him a NEW career made me overjoyed. It'll be fun to put him on HIS bobcats team and build the franchise and let him play against Kobe, or put him on the Lakers and play alongside him. I know some gameplay improvements have been announced and I'm excited about that as well. Only thing I am wishing for now is improvements to franchise and My Player mode. It's already a first day buy but if those two things are improved as well, it would just about bankrupt EA's basketball series. Here's to hoping those 2 things are improved, as well as there being a 2K college game again soon!

Love it! Although it does appear to have the same problem as PC modders, in that they made the shorts shorter but left the jersey's bagginess alone, which just looks odd. Might be the angle though.

I wonder how this shorter style is implemented, will it be selectable for any team (through player edit/options screen) or just hardwired into the classic teams?

True...just hoping for a slim MJ, with this alone the game is gonna be crazy.

I'm not going to add anything new to this conversation... but consider my mind blown.

As a lifelong Chicago guy who grew up playing NBA Live and wished he could play as #23 himself, it's pretty satisfying that I'm finally going to get the chance.

This mode is ridiculous. Someone else said it awhile ago, but every male that is 20-39 in the Chicagoland area will probably have this game.
