NOO 2K u got it all wrong!!!!! Where are the Camera men behind the net???????? and it seems to me that the crowd is too far away from the court (from behind the net) FIX IT!
lol
I would also like to see more mustaches and Cosby sweaters in the crowd.
I get what you're saying. I'm not saying that I don't want stuff to be as close to accurate as possible, but things at a certain point is nitpicking to me. Stadium entrances - sorry I don't notice it. The court and stuff I tend to get that view, wanting the court to mirror the actual courts from the early 90s, but not to the point of stadium entrances, that's where it's a bit of overkill, and isn't as essential to me as the gameplay being on point. I just think some of the "LeBron Headband" type stuff gets to the point of overkill, and I guess the stadium entrance thing fit into that category.
Sorry to go off topic, carry on.
Back on topic, agree w/ those who say TNT isn't essential to having great presentation - 2K10's presentation was top notch IMO, and if they improved on it that definitely excites me.
yea i know exactly what your saying. I understand that people want everything to be exact down to detail, and something such as centering a headband should be an easy fix, but there's a point between pointing out a problem and nitpicking. To me gameplay always comes first, if the gameplay is right then you can start nitpicking. When i use to sports games where the only way to distinguish players was the number on the jersey and the name underneath them so I laugh when people complain about minor problems.
On to the picture, I wouldn't completely overreact to the 'mistakes' in the screenshot. Based on the past couple of years 2ks early pictures don't fully represent the final product:
Thats one of the first screenshots for 2k9. If you look at harris's jersey you'll notice there are, what looks like, holes in the jersey. Im almost positive that the final version did not have any jerseys like that. The date of the picture was august 20 and the game came out october 7. Point being, things can definitely change between now and the games release.
What do you guys think about the court spacing/player size? I can't tell if it's been improved or not. Although player size looks a bit smaller which is what I wanted(many players in 2K10 were too bulky and when creating a big man, they were too big and took up way too much space!!).
The one thing that does look improved is the length/distance between the 3-point line and the halfcourt line. In 2K10, it should've been 5 feet longer.
They should make it so there are different variation of scoreboards...just to mix it up. So if you play a game in Chicago...you get a different scoreboard and layout than the one you play at NY for example. 5 or 6 variation would be cool. And i think it doesn't take much effort to change the variation....it's just a matter of weather they want to implement it or not.

If you mean like a different color palette for each team, then I'm behind you. It would really add to the watching a game experience 2k sports tries to provide.
Maybe since TNT wasn't around then, when you play a game with the classic teams or if you're doing the Jordan Challenge the 2K logo shows but if you're playing with the current teams they use the TNT logo. but hey either way it's a first day buy for me.
Guys, the Lakers is Derrick Rose's team. He said this in an article when playing 2K9. He also said the same thing in a video about 2K10:
Derrick said the reason he picks the Lakers is because they have dominant big men. But now with the Bulls having Boozer, hopefully he starts using the Bulls!
LOL at Rose not liking the way he looks in-game and 2K Producer Rick Boenisch giving him a look in the background!!

It hard to determine whether or not the court length/size has been adjusted because the logo at half court varies for each court. If you play on the Cavs court in 2k10 the logo practically touches the 3 pointline but a court like the Celtics has more distance between the logo and the top of the arc. I would love if the court size was adjust just a bit. Last year developers said that they changed player sizes so they were more proportional to the court but there were still spacing issues, so hopefully the court size has been worked on.
