Great job youvalss. I may not lose sleep over stadium entrances but that's exactly how the Bulls court looked in 1991. There's no way a developer can mess that up if they have pics and video. I mean, really!
Call me a nitpicker but I have every right! I was born in '82 and grew up in the "The Chi"!
Everyone take it easy. It could just be a quick game, it might be an early build, it might be alot of things. 2 Months left until the game is released, nothing in the game is final yet so that not being the era-correct Chicago homecourt is not a problem. Long time left til release.
The bottom line is; that's a cool picture and we should be glad 2K released it.

What makes you think this just isn't an exhibition game done with the '86 court?
Yep, since the court is wrong to be the 1991 Bulls'. The center court is the one used in Chicago Stadium up until the 1986-87 season...from 1987-88 onwards it was the Bull. So it makes sense for it to be a quick game between the '86 Bulls and the '91 Lakers.
Guys, guys we're losing sight of the biggest problem in this screen. THAT ain't Benny The Bull standing out of bounds there at least not for that era. The Benny that appears to be there is
That's re-designed Benny, real Benny is...
Seriously though, I think the game just isn't finished yet and so we'll see some inaccuracies in things until closer to release.
James Worthy should be one inch taller in the game, 2K never pays attention to detail. Well, they're not even going to see my wallet if this doesn't change before the release date!

That'd make real good sense. Though, did someone say there's mention of Conference Finals statistics? I cannot read the screen very well. I wonder if those stats show up anytime the '91 Lakers are used. I think it could be a safe bet, just as '09 stats show up anytime you play with a club in a 2K10 exhibition.

Yeah, it says "James Worthy, Conference finals vs Portland" and it lists his stats.
We are two months from release, so it doesn't matter if it's a Jordan challenge or a quick game, there's plenty of time to fix "mistakes". They might just be using that court as a place holder or whatever.
I doubt anybody is freaking out over the picture. It doesn't show anything Earth-shattering, all it shows us is a classic arena, a couple of classic players and a scoreboard.
