NCAA Football 11 Patch #2 Update (EA Sports Blog)

EA Sports has just posted another NCAA Football 11 blog, thanking everyone, as well as giving us a few patch #2 updates.

	"More details on the client update to come, but here are three of the big ones we've solved: -- RANDOM PLAY ACTION CRAZINESS - Sure it looks funny, but annoying as heck when it costs you a drive or a game. We're sorry we missed this one as well and apologize for the issue. -- SEASON SHOWDOWN STATS REPORTING - The season showdown warning is harmless right now and this issue and related lobby problems ultimately get fixed with the update. -- UNIFORMS THAT NEVER NEED WASHING - This is one of the more painful ones for us given all the work on visuals this year. The game actually does degrade uniforms; unfortunately we broke something in a final build that made the impact way too subtle. Consider this one solved with the update. And we want you to know that we've really been enjoying the great "Art of NCAA Football" threads. It's clear we have some incredible photographic talent in our community! So I expect things will go next-level when the update rolls out."

has anyone gone to File Management -> Load/Delete -> Tuner Set, and see if there is one sitting there waiting for you to load?

I think it asks you if you want to download the latest tuner sets, that's how you'll know. At least, that's the way it is in NHL 10, from what I remember.

so it works like a update? as soon as you boot the game it will tell you there is a "tuner" avaialble?

Doing some reading on NHL 10(never played the game), that's what it seems like. Hopefully recruiting/progression is addressed in the first tuner set

I think the tuner sets are something EA can do on their own, since it involves an update from their game, ala roster updates in Madden or NHL. Title updates for a game go to Microsoft(or Sony) themselves, which can take a while. The Mass Effect update took at least a month to get to consoles from MS..

In NHL 10, tuners downloaded after you press START on the "press start" screen

I was hoping to wake up today and have the update ready for download...I know it was wishful thinking but classes start in under a month haha...lets go already!

The blog clearly states that the patch is a few weeks out but the tuning set I think might be this week. Or we just find out more info on the tuner set this week.

I'm just naturally pessimistic, but I'm expecting the LTP to be out Thursday or Friday, just because we all were hoping for it to be up like 5 o'clock this morning.

Im betting on Thursday or Friday. I'll be out of town Thursday morning -> Sunday night, so if it's not here by Wednesday, then I'm indifferent and will wait till whenever.

Android 2.2 and NCAA tuners this week... a big week no doubt!
