Yeah, like being in control of what to pitch. Can you imagine a coach walking into your living room and rolling the dice to see what to talk about LOL! Why change the pitch part?!

Okay, I need a refresher. Haven't bought NCAA in 3 years:

If you have a good grade in something, why would you ever ask what they think about it? Wouldn't you just pitch it?

What's even the point of asking? You'll know the range, but so what? Is it so you can "sway" him for more points? If so, when would you not ask first? So confused

I re-read the blog, and still don't get it:

it's supposed to "simulate" the recruit deciding what to talk about, rather than have you, the user, hammering only the pitches you are good at.

I think this is for a couple of purposes...one is to make recruiting a little more difficult, and the other is so that the recruiting calls actually kind of follow the course of a conversation.

I love that the days of 2 hour hard-sells are gone. Some recruits used to annoy the crap out of me with that stuff.

Not every recruit in real life will be aggressive or cocky enough to steer the conversation with a coach. When I was getting recruited (baby cake division III schools) I was soaking it all up and asked questions seldomly.

They should make it dynamic in that some big time recruits will spit fire thinking there the beast and others who are more humble and allow you to steer more often. But that would demand a player tendency like system......EA

I wonder what week this is? Nebraska is #4? Wha??? I have to assume this is later in the season, because I'd think their rating would be at the best #8 or #9.

This will make recruiting in ODs even THAT much more fun!
Yep At first I didn't like the fact that you could see how far/behind you are in points with a recruit, but now that I see that you get points when you recruit against another school this year as well as take points away, I'm kinda looking forward to it. Like you said, this is going to make recruiting in OD's very interesting.

quick question, do you guys fill your recruiting board to capacity or do you guys select a few prospects to fill your needs and get the most out of them?

Wonderful, because we all know recruiting decisions are quantified. They keep standings and assign points. Argh.
