NCAA Football 11 Takes Dynasty to the Web (ESPN Videogames)

This year, the team behind "NCAA Football 11" is finally taking the feature full-force to the Web, enabling gamers to log onto their dynasty anywhere they have access to the Internet, whether it's on a computer, iPhone, or even an iPad. That's right, now if you an extra 20 minutes to kill at work (or if you just don't feel like working), you can log onto your team online, schedule a game, try to recruit that strong-armed quarterback for next season, and even write up a news story about how you destroyed Florida the night before and post the story to Facebook. Talk about a productivity killer. "NCAA Football 11" is set to cost corporate America millions of dollars in lost time just so Dan from Palo Alto can try to convince some virtual running back that Stanford is the best place for him to high-step down the field next season. But that's just the start of what EA has planned. I recently had the chance to sit down with NCAA Football 11" producers Ben Haumiller and Russ Kiniry to get the inside scoop on the game's new online dynasty features. That just sold me. That's a really cool feature. I just wish all of that was available with Offline Dynasty.

Sounds cool that you can do recruiting without going on your console now. Nice new feature they added. EA just make sure yo test it properly before launching it this coming fall please. To avoid an big glitches are bugs in the system.

Apparently, you can make online dynasty an offline dynasty at any point and vice versa.

yup, you can host a single player online dynasty and have all your stuff web enabled.

Amazing addition. I can't tell you how many late nights I spent dozing at the sticks while trying to complete a recruiting week before bed. This will be great for documenting the information for dynasty reports, too.

I'll probably take my "offline" 'nasty "online" just to be able to take advantage of this.

WOW. I'm not an online dynasty kind of guy (I'm more of a loner :P), but FOR SURE I'm going to do my dynasty as an online dynasty with just me this year (who knows, maybe this will actually get me into playing online dynasties with other people; but having kids and not knowing if I can put a full game in makes it a bit more difficult :P).

This just totally caught me out of left field. Now I'm all excited again. After the last recruiting post, they mentioned "if you're an online dynasty fan, we have lots more coming for you" and I was disappointed that it sounded like there wasn't any more real offline dynasty information coming. However, dang... I simply don't know what to say after this. Recruiting during my lunch break? Awesome :P.

You can do a one person online dynasty and use the feature.

What a great addition! I have been the commissioner of an SEC exclusive OD for the past two years and on my forums we did the exact thing NCAA11 will do for us automatically now. We created stories and inserted pics and vids to show what happened during the games and it was a very time consuming process to create. Being it was a forum thread, all the team owners could comment and everything as well. Wow... I'm really impressed with this feature. I was already getting the game at release but now I am experiencing high anxiety!
