MLB '10: The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors V.2

Notes:

-All players (my players) are completed.....updated with faces....updated ratings...numbers. I randomized stances and in the instances I knew an actual stance...I added it.
-I did not get a chance to put Struts NEW stances he sent me yet. (the set contains his original updated stances)
-I did the most common lineups for the MLB teams from Baseball Reference. In some cases I just used "common sense" (what little I have left)
-I let the CPU dictate the minor league lineups/rotations
-I did not use the "extra" A rated player. It is Grant Desme of the Oakland A's and heard the higher calling and left the game. It is him on the FA list....so you're choice....give him his name...and put him back on Oakland....or make him the player of your choice
-I tried to get in as many requests as possible
-The Futures game starters look great for the most part...but for whatever reason...there are still some USA players being put on the World team. I cannot figure it out.
-I tried and succeeded for the most part in getting the AAA teams perfect
-Some of the early AL teams might have changed since I did them....heck...even some of the NL teams might be like that...there is a lot of minor league movement.

Of course....this would have been impossible this year without Ridin'...and KSig who really set the table and came through big time with this set this year.

Also thanks to Strut.....Mr Franchise....Razr....JaSnake...and the countless others who supplied us with info, which is invaluable to a project like this. As it is....it can be overwhelming at times.....having resources to pluck from is a GREAT help.

Just to be clear- you making a franchise file- with correct 40 man rosters, 25 man pro, and all the opening day injuries? Is that right?

roster looks great! made a few changes to skin color and such for the Padres but other then that great work once again. Small change though, in your set, Padres SS Lance Zawadski should have a Z after the D and not an S. Should read Zawadzki

one small thing i have noticed is that there are duplicate jonathan van every's. red sox have a fake jonathan van every and the pirates have the real jonathan van every.

I did but as Knight mentioned in the first post, he used a version that has been updated quite a bit since I sent it to him. Curious, what is "strange" about them. PM me if you want

I just uploaded a 30 team franchise file I did at the end of spring training with ALL Opening day DL assignments, starting lineups, and rotations set.

awesome finally downloaded the file and everything looks really good....I did notice that thing where pitchers appear in the lineup section (after another look it only appears to be Steven Shell on the M's that appears in the lineup on the Rainiers)

ultimately, what is different or better than Knight's version 1 and what SCEA update is v2 based off of? is there less A players?

I didnt have time to check but was his power bumped up?

Significantly. He went from 54/61 (RHP/LHP) to 69/71, if I remember correctly (I just edited it back down).

I'll have to check Cano.
I did use a later version as the base than the default....maybe SCEA had him boosted at one point?

Just FYI....there is ONE thing I do edit on SCEA players(two actually)....one is the drag bunt for pitchers occasionally. If I go into look at a players ratings(yes....I learn off the SCEA guys

).....and see a 20 drag bunt rating...I change it. Another is durability. If I go into an SCEA players edit screen...I usually raise his durability bar. It's the one area that is a little lacking from SCEA. There really should be a separate durability and injury rating....as well as a power(HR) and gap power(doubles) rating.

. At some point of dragging everything back and forth from work to home and back again......I lost my notes. All of them. So I was going off memory for the teams I'd done already....and while your memory might be good 'ole American....mine is Swiss!

Yes...I think after Razr does his edits....strut is going to grab it and update them.

Also...I hope coreyhartsdaughter repeats his franchise file idea....PERFECT for me!

-One other note....I didn't get to go in and change contracts.
If you don't like a players contract length.....pre-franchise....go into the ROSTER CONTROL screen and put him on the FA list and then back to the team. His contract will change...you can do this multiple times until you get the contract you like.

Hey Knight, I can't seem to find that "A" prospect that you left for us. I checked the FA list and the A's roster and couldn't find him. Any hints??

He's on the FA list....Grant A I think is his name....should be just before all the dev players that I lowered ratings to.
I didn't use him, so I hope he's there!

Found him, but he's got a D potential ... wonder how that happened? Maybe by releasing the Godly guy his potential went down??
