i hate to make any requests cuz i want you guys to get through with the rosters like everybody else... BUT... if in fact adding one guy isn't a very big deal... may i suggest Bo Greenwell for one of the Indians outfield slots... Mike's kid is absolutely tearing up A ball right now... hitting .468 and leading the minors with 20 RBI... and 6 stolen bases to boot.. just a thought, but if you only have like an F potential slot or something, it may not be worth it anyway

I also question Iglesias a lil bit(I'm not sold on him yet OFFENSIVELY..defensively the kid is ridiculous already), but overall I am liking this roster set, just like last year.
I think we will leave him at A. I too am a die hard Bo Sawx fan so if you want ratings for other players let me know.

Good call on this one, got any reports other than his counting stats?

berenjena currently has the file. I sent it to him before I got the Ike Davis face done. So when he gets done, he'll send it back to me quick so I can get it in.

I'm not a fan of having Yu in the set as it's been stated quite clearly that he intends on staying in Japan. If anyone wants him, just make him.

I hate that faces and cosmetics are being added before attributes, because I'd do my franchise without them, not to belittle the work being done on faces/stances, they're awesome, just my meaningless two cents on the matter

I like the idea of adjusting some attributes for the current season, but only in the case of people doing EXTREMELY well (Martin Prado) or EXTREMELY poor. And only slight adjustments, as it's not even a month into the season. From the looks of it though there will be a week or two more to go off of by the time the rosters get ready for Bahnzo's edits.

Jason Hayward is still all 99's right? No... but that guy is good lol

I just read an interesting article on Tim Lincecum at fangraphs

http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/index...on-of-lincecum

It's saying Lincecum's fastball is only averaging out around 92 MPH this year and has been steadily falling since his first year when it was 97. It's claiming he's become more of a Greg Maddux (Locating secondary pitches) than a Nolan Ryan. Going from 67% fastballs in his first year, to throwing it about 50% of the time.

This seems to happen to EVERY fireballer. I wish franchise mode would progress players like this.

Yeah, the pitcher progression in this game still leaves something to be desired.

I'd also like to see injuries totally destroy pitchers sometimes in franchise. Guys like Mark Prior, Jesse Foppert, etc. So when you draft a young pitcher, you'd actually have to pay attention to how you handle him, and not expose him to too many innings, etc.

I'd also like to see some guys just lose it every once in a while. I'd like to see the occasional pitcher just suddenly pull a Rick Ankiel impression and lose his stuff out of nowhere (maybe not the turning into an outfielder part... though that would be cool too).

I'm ready to go...so when they are ready...I am.

As a matter of fact, I've been working on a Classic Set in the interim ....to keep my hand in it. It's a request set that I never got to from '09....it's an eclectic little set with some great and not so great teams. I've already completed the '72 Mets...the '75 Red Sox....the '70 Orioles and the '72 Cubs.

Just FYI...once I finish the Full Minors update(v2)
I will be finishing this Classic Set....asking capa(and you guys) to come up with another Classic Set to fit in with the classic stadiums....and then I'll finish up the year with a 2000 Subway Series Set(I'm going to try and hunt down the injury list from that year so we can use it in the replay) Should be fun to try and beat the Yankees this time around.

Good luck with that Subway series! (says a 50+ years Yankees Fan )

I'd love to see some great Yankees teams like the 23, 27, 39, 49, 54
'61, 63, 77, 78, 96, 98... too many? LOL

I'm currently playing a season using some rosters I downloaded from
the Vault called something like 60s-70s-80s-90s. I have made an
all time yankees roster using a combo of the new rosters mixed with
Silver, Golden and current teams.

I'll start my "real season" when V2 of your roster is released.

I assume the first post in this thread will be updated to contain v2
when ready.

Thanks,

Bob

Go Yankees! 28!

I agree with Yu....I don't want to see him on a franchise next year.
No fantasy rosters for me.

As for those guys getting it beforehand...it was really to give me a little extra time to take care of some family stuff.....although things have calmed down for me...it was already set up that way, so I figured it was best to go.

Thanks...and capa is a Yankee fan.
He picked the '61 team last year.
I just want to do a Classic set that fits well with the stadiums.

The 2000 set is twofold.
1. It's a season that contains all the teams that are currently in the game.
2. It's a season that I need to get some revenge with!

Are you kidding? You know what an uproar that would create on the forums claiming that the game is broken cause, lets say, Strasburg got a career ending injury.

Good luck with the revenge. That was a very good Yankees team that year.

I look forward to your rosters. I've only been able to use downloaded
rosters this year. Previously I had MLB 08, the version that threw the
ball into the outfield when trying to throw around the horn on a put out.

I usually buy every other year. I was really looking forward to this one
because I just got a PS3 after 9 good years on my trusty PS2. This is
a very deep game and I wish I had 4 hours a day for it. Then I could play
a season with current players and greatest hits players and combos of
each etc.

I am so thankful and very pleased that people like you and your team put in the
extra hours making this game even better than it already is.

Will both of your rosters be posted on the first page of this thread?

Thanks,

bob

3 weeks?....could be.
Depending on how quickly..and how many faces Franchise and berenjena do before I get it(I'll have to do them otherwise..)...I probably need about a week to make the other adjustments and test it out a bit more.

M.K.
Knight165

Kyle Weiland and Alex Wilson are the two pitchers who are listed as "A" potential, but probably shouldn't be. Weiland might pass as a "B" potential, but Wilson shouldn't be any higher than a "C".

Stolmy Pimentel could possibly take up the other "A" potential.

Then when you're preparing for the draft you scouts could tell ya they're concerned with so and so mechanics and he could be a high risk pick...
Yeah I think that would be good with the mechanics aspect. Looking at Strahsburg's pitching motion, it's eerily similar to the way prior pitched, the inverted W which has been proven will cause injury. So let's keep our fingers crossed with Strahsburg, especially since he throws the ball much harder than most that used than inverted W.

I don't remember who, but one guy said last week that he was about to finish his part and send it to one other guy who needed one week to complete the set.

Is that wrong ? Can the OSFM team give us an Estimated WEEK of Arrival ?
