Penalties are definitely in.

I know there are reports of no injuries, but one play, a player couldn't get up. It could have been that the replay cut away too quickly, but it looked like he was still down. Still no running plays gaining any yards.

the players do seem to be heading towards the sideline after the extra point though. this leads me to think that in the final version there will be full sidelines.

the players just move so much more seemlisley and natural than madden games do. I cant wait

I hate how when they talk about customization all they talk about is team customization(only jerseys) and stadiums. I wish they would confirm or deny player fully customizable weight and height already!

None the less I'm glad to see something new come out but, the anticipation is killing me. I really hope there is more than just a few different body styles.

Honestly, everyone should get both Madden and Backbreaker. I prefer the chess match of Madden, but can appreciate the 3rd person perspective of Backbreaker as well as the customization. Also, in my opinion every gamer should purchase the Tecmo Bowl download. Money talks and the NFL listens when dinero's involved

If this game plays like it looks like it's going to play, I honestly don't think I'll ever be able to play Madden again.

It looks better and better with every video. I really hope this game has staying power, I can only imagine how good it can be down the road.

Yeah I could care less about players and others on the sidelines, really. Yeah Its nice to have a crowded sideline but, I don't care for it to much. Just like injuries there nice and realistic because they do happen but, I can live without them.

Good call, my friend. I feel the exact same way. I'm really talking this game up to my buddies. I've already gotten 2 to pre order it.

I wish that AP2K8 had customization this DEEP! I will be buying this game!!!!

At this point I'm leaning strongly towards a day 1 purchase. It's looking like a lot of fun. I'm starting to see their vision better and am okay with letting go of some expectations I had in certain areas now that I understand the technology better and such.

I agree, but it definitely wasn't the end of the game I zoomed in and it was only the 1st quarter. So even though I tend to agree with your comments it's still pretty strange that they're heading towards a sideline.

Most years I would agree with you. I'm a diehard football fan and I have a habit of buying every football game that hits the shelf. Backbreaker offers something totally new and that is badly needed in football games. Tecmo Bowl is a classic and I can't wait to get that game too.

Madden tho, idk. I used to love that game, but it just isn't for me these days. I know it won't happen, but I would say the NFL would listen a lot more if Madden didn't do as well as football games that don't have the NFL. No way the NFL wants football fans playing and not using their league.

Seems like customization in Backbreaker will be limitless. I can't wait to see what the community comes up with. I saw in one of the forums that a gamer in Forza Motorsport (same customization as Backbreaker) was able to create an exact photorealistic replica of the Joker from the Dark Knight on the roof of his car... hey that would look cool in an endzone

here are the links to his car he made using the same customization Backbreaker is using..

That is simply amazing especially the 2nd one with Walken.

On another note I heard Rob say that you can play on the O-line if you wanted to but, he just said center so I don't know If he means every position on the O-line. Not sure how that will work but, I'm sure people who have actually played the O-line position will love it if they enjoy the game.
