I agree. The camera changes WAY too quickly with the broadcast camera. It doesn't really bother me, but if they find a way to cure this next year, the game will look so much better!

very possible and I sure hope so as that looked very '09 in the Ichiro clip

This is why gameplay videos should be CPU vs CPU. I don't know about anyone else, but I would get so annoyed when those silly training screens would pop up on the screen! I was screaming for the dude to hit [] and get rid of them.

Agreed. User errors are quite obvious, yet people can not realize that sometimes.

It's cutscenes. Just look at 3:30. Felix Hernandez is just standing there doing nothing. Then a second later the screen flashes and he is stretching beyond the mound.

Is there an option to play with RTS and cutscenes? If so, maybe that's what is going on in these clips. If not, then RTP is turned off. There are a lot of cutscenes in these clips.

I just watched that clip and I gotta say, that is the best home run derby I've ever seen in a video game. I actually wanna play that. They did a good job with it.

That they did. Just goes to show, that they will not implement anything, unless it is done right. And professional. They are not about gimmicks.

They've already talked about this. If they allowed more of the batter's follow thru, then you would have less control over the fielders due to it cutting to the fielding later. I'll take more control over watching a follow thru.

If I remember correctly, they didn't "juice" the ball, but one of the devs said they actually found an error with their physics code on balls that caused them to die too quickly.

Wow whats up with the perfect, 2 bounce throws to 3B from the right OF wall?

Yikes.. I thought they were going to tone down the rocket arms and accuracy this year?

surprised nobody mentioned this, in the HR derby clip after Tex hits his first hr they show the other players watching. is it just me or do i see number 44 jason bay there wearing an american league uniform?

Watched the Mariners @ Rangers clips.

Its really hard to tell its a different game than '09. Commentary is virtually the same and a lot of the poorly done batting stances haven't changed (Lopez and Gutierrez REALLY stand out as completely wrong). The physics looked better but it was very small things. I don't know what chimps they had demoing those clips but they sure didn't do it any favors.

Not real impressed so far. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised after I get my hands on it.

I know this. But there should at least be an OPTION, especially if I'm hitting.

-They definitely did tone them down...do you see how long it takes the ball to come down, lol. This year, a misplayed ball in the outfield results in an extra base, the way it is supposed to be!

So you want a "Longer Follow Thorugh" option in the menus then? Gotcha....

I saw the one you are talking about. It's offline and the ball travels way up in the air to get there, I'd hardly call that a rocket arm.

I did notice one bug tho. If you watch the Met's video, when Santana strikes out the second guy up, he does it with a fastball inside. The Pitch Tracker thing shows it up and in the middle of the plate however. Nothing huge, but pretty obvious it was incorrect.

Wasn't it like this in 09, as well? I'm pretty sure it was almost never accurate, for some reason.

Speaking of pitch location indicators being messed up, I noticed that for knuckleballs in 09, the location on the Swing Analysis graphic would be completely different than the location on the on-camera overlay. I wonder if that was fixed this year.

Vids look great!

Dudes playing the game suck tho....LOL.

Splitter up in the zone with Zambrano? Throwing all breaking ball, no fastballs? Throw to third, never hit cut off man?

Again, I know this is human player. Cant wait til Tuesday.
