MLB 2K10 News Post

Gameinformer has posted a very detailed live journal on Major League Baseball 2K10.

Quote:
"In the skill point menu, new sections have been added for my pitch types. For instance, I can now spend points on my curveball's speed, control, and movement. One nice really touch is having individual skill points rewarded for pitching, fielding, baserunning, and batting. Unlike MLB: The Show, you won't have to needlessly spend pitching points on drag bunting. It looks like I'll earn bunting points for laying down bunts, and fielding points for actually playing my position. Nice."

I disagree about standard def. But I might be in the minority.

As long as they tell me, "hey, this vid is in standard def"..... really I'm less interested in graphics right now and more into presentation. Just me, though.

I think we have already seen the graphics in their flashy bits.

I think most are interested at seeing how the game plays in actual hands on. And to see the animations and transitions. Not anymore concerned with looks, that has already been accepted.

I agree, I was just messing around.

I'd like to see MLB Today in action and a good two inning vid could do that.

the music wasnt bad , but did any of you notice that it was all recycled gameplay clips we have already seen in atleast one of the trailers. I was kinda disappointed by that move.
Only new clip was the my player one at the end? If I recall right.

In this image above, How come the cubs and brewers have different cleat styles? Its a nice touch. BTW and also are the shoes able to be edited in style? Cause I am really feelin the Cubs look in the cleats.

Even Ichiro doing it in that situation is a big no no.

I noticed the differences in the shoes the other day. Very nice touch they added.

P.S. 3,200 Posts. Thanks to all the little people that made this possible.

I have to disagree with this statement. I know it is all opinion here though so we can agree to disagree. lol
Although prince fielder did try to steal third last year against the dodgers.
In that Same day when he tried to barge into their clubhouse when Mota drilled him in retaliation- BTW it was in the 8th inning

He added this on his blog:

"Just so you know, the video is roughly a gig in size. It's going to take a few hours to encode. And for those of you who are complaining that I'm sitting on this video and taking my sweet time putting it up, we had to wait for the ESRB to rate it."

I thought it was 2 innings, so it should be longer than 2 min, eh?

Unless the CPU is swinging at everything

PS- This was sarcasm, I doubt 2k would put out a video like that with all the complaints about it last year.

Video is up, and The frame rate transfer for the HD process took a hit. So I am not alarmed by it at all. Watching now
