As each year goes by this game, this thing, this behemoth, looks more and more like a perfectly realistic TV broadcast.

Sick...as a parrot.

I'm only a few hours away, I think I should go to community day!

The graphics look so much more improved than I thought they would. That pitcher/outfield cam makes the game look like Uncharted 2 in a baseball park. Plus, the player movement just looks so much more fluid and life like. Awesome job SCEA.

Yeah I am amazed, I used to play all major 4 sports video games , now i only play one. I dont get to play as much as i used too (24 hour session once lol) now that i have the 1 year old, but even he sits next to me when i do play with his eyes wide open in awe. The real time animations are going to be awesome, game looks great as always.

Dude, so many people jump down your throat here. You just gotta expect it.

I can't wait for more of these, it looks great. Maybe a developer could start a request thread... instead of pic a day, it could be video a day

But at the same time, this site is the greatest sports gaming site on the net

I'm with you 100%. The Show is the only sports game that's a must buy for me this year, after several years of buying 3+ sports titles. Not only is this game fantastic and immersive, but it's quality highlights some of the deficiencies of other sports games, at least for me.

And I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old, so my gameplay time has taken a huge hit. Still find plenty of time to spank the Yankees in my franchise, though.

Like Jim said in an earlier post this isn't even close to the FINAL BUILD so what you see on these Vids isn't even close to what the actual game will look like and how it will play once it is shipped.

Even though Rex is average at best, retaining him allows the development team to build on a large library of play-by-play material previously recorded. He has already recorded 95% of the names, numbers basic stuff, probably this allows him to add more significant detail elsewhere.

Yeah the rex comment sticks out so badly and that was only one time hearing him. His commentary takes away from the presentation feeling real. The way its displayed it sounds fit for like a tony hawk game. Its terrible.

Fixed.

There is no room for his dialogue in a baseball broadcast, especially the way he is integrated tantalizing the user's mistakes. It's so... unbecoming.
