Nice footage. I could not be more excited for this game.[/quote]

Actually, I was exactly this excited last year too!

They had numbers on the bands last year, but it does look better graphically this year

Ah, see, I didn't say that it was impossible to do, I just said that it makes more sense to do it one way over the other. What's the harm in having it as an option? I would much prefer it myself. Plus, some people use auto-fielding or watch games CPU vs. CPU. It's like asking why there's an option to bat with the behind-the-pitcher cam or the high cam, which is pretty much impossible to determine balls from strikes in the same vein as with one of the lower cameras.

Plus, the camera is still a bit too low to have that broadcast feel. As you can see from the Citi Field clip, the backstop comes into play (no pun intended) when the ball is hit. Don't get me wrong, I already love it three hundred times more than the other camera, but just like any other feature or mode, there is room for improvement and that means that it is open to suggestion.

I'm just glad that a broadcast camera is included! I'm sure that the other game doesn't have one, and that's all that I need to know to make my decision. At least balls hit in the middle of the field will get the right treatment!

I am still giddy that you can see players moving in the bullpen, and how they react now in the dugouts. Almost looks like the manager is telling the defense to shift for the next batter after the strikeout the way he waves his arm after the clap!!!

The little things?

I am just excited to see how it tracks those "no doubters" now. It has got to look fantastic!!!

I agree with ya there Mr. Blzer

If it were an option I would use a center-fixed broadcast cam

Oh yeah, we still have no idea how fly balls will work with this thing, let alone home runs.

See, what I really like about a camera like this is that it's zoomed, and what that means is that a ball being thrown in from the outfield means that there's a chance to see slight motion going on in the infield, like base runners or cut-off men aligning and such. It's just nice to admire that kind of beauty in motion whenever possible.

Checked swings, third baseman reaction on the foul ball, the throw around following the play at first - All new

I can tell the players are wearing white wrist tape so that makes me ecstatic! I hope (as a roster fanatic) to see a lot more accesories and updated stances/motions.

Somehow, the devs continue to improve on an awesome game. Spectacular...

Yay for new check swings. Now lets see if they are functional in the game. I had a hard time check swinging on 09.

You are not wrong. We go through this every year.

Wow, it's quite obvious reading through this thread who is going to be that guy this year.

It's an unfinished video and the dissection begins... good job OS. Right on schedule.
